Nice Layout
Great golf holes with greens in really good condition. Fairway and tee box maintenance fair at best. Weed growth and dry/brown spots on most fairways. Could be a great course with improved maintenance.
Uphill Downhill layout
Course was in decent shape not as nice as sister course next door but overall a fun course
Beautiful Vistas
Worth it if you get a deal !
Always a good choice
We visit the Big Island 2 to 3 times a year and always make sure to play Hapuna at least twice (or more). Course condition is overall very good, maybe a little dry, but the greens are consistently excellent. Staff is very friendly. I did encounter some slow players on the back 9 my last round there, but it’s on them (no etiquette) as Hapuna is typically pretty quick. It’s a good value when you can get an online deal.
Enjoyed playing very much. Will play again next time to Hawaii
Great value
Great value compared to Waikoloa village and beach/lakes course. Pace of play was good about 4.25 hours
Bang for buck
Unreal golf course! Spectacular views, well maintained and very tenatice staff! One of the best courses I have ever had the privilege to play
Great course
Enjoyed our day on the course. Super views good layout.
Goats Galore
I would highly recommend getting a "hot deal" on Golf Now for this course as it's absolutely worth $100, but if paying full price, head to Mauna Lani North or South.
Great fun
This is a challenging course but worth playing as many times as possible. It’s a favorite.
Beautiful Oceanside golf course
Outstanding! Only complaint was pin placement on first hole. Clown or putt-putt placement Ball riled off front. No stopping it. Sad. Took an eight, ruined the rest of the round.
