About Westin Hapuna Beach Resort (Hawaii Island)

The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii (Big) Island is a sister property of the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. The resort features 249 guest rooms and suites and its own spa and fitness center. It also has its own 18-hole golf course, Hapuna Golf Course, opened in 1992 and was designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. Amenities of the property include a white-sand beach, family pool and adults-only pool.

The more I play this course the more I appreciate it .It is basically a links course which has many election changes , few bunkers , challenging greens that are difficult to read . , forgiving fairways .

Fabulous Day at Hapuna. Doesn’t get any better then this!

Very nice range, practise area. Staff were all outstanding! Pace of play was a per delight. Groups ahead let us play through. Greens are exceptional! I could play this course every day and never get tired of it. Nice to see all the COVID restrictions in place. If you haven’t golfed this course do it for the views! They are an outstanding bonus .Lots of parking too.

Play Too slow

Course was in good shape. Just way too much waiting. Over 5 hours for our round. Spoke to some regulars and they said this is an on going issue.

I was thinking of getting a multi play pass but not now.
