Only took me 30 years! Photo submitted by rjhmu on 11/04/2012
Old Nordic
Love the course and friendly staff . Weekend pace was way to long ,5 hours . Will play here during the week .
Good Challenge, Excellent Condition
I have played here many times. I got a new appreciation for the course this time around as the course is in outstanding condition. Highly recommend!
Great course for high handicapper
Course was in GREAT condition.. Greens were particularly nice. This is a perfect course for some one who like me shoots in the mid 90's regularly. Shot a 42 on front and 45 on the back.. There was a screw up on the Golf now website. Paid for cart but when my receipt printed it said cart wasn't included. Guy at the Pro shop took care of us so Thank You!. There are some cheaper courses in the area but I don't think you'll be disappointed. here.
Fantastic course
The course was in great shape. It was very hot out so there were not a lot of golfers out. Staff was really friendly. Would play there anytime
Resort golf
Short golf course even from the tips, but interesting holes with some variety. Course in decent shape given recent rains. 4:10 round on Saturday morning, which I found good.
Lovely course all around
After not swinging the sticks for a few years, this course was a good place to start getting back into the game during COVID period. I will be back for sure.
Nice course. No signs on holes....
The course was in good shape and fun to play on. Weird thing was there are no signs on the course and with the zig zagging layout it's hard to find ththe proper next hole sometimes. Thought that was odd but besides that was a solid course to play on
Slow Back. Backed ip
The pace of play when I started at 140 was horribly slow. Constantly waiting for forsomes and no rangers at all. The last 3 holes were so backed up that I saw two groups waiting. I left rather than wait it out. Otherwise the course was in nice shape
Short but challenging greens
I really enjoyed the course and it was in great shape. The course has a ton of short par 4’s but the greens and pin selections still make it fun and challenging. Fun round for the not so serious golfer...
Fun track
I really enjoyed playing Eaglewood. It's not very long, but it has hilly terrain and lots of trees to make it a challenge. They also keep it in really good shape. Bunker maintenance is always a challenge in the Midwest, and we just had some heavy rain, so I wasn't expecting too much there. But the greens and fairways were well groomed and they kept the rough at a fair length. I highly recommend this course for a fun track if you don't need 6500 or more yards.
Staff was insufferable concerning their rules - would not permit cart use even though I had disability placard.
only front 9 is open
this course only had 9 holes because of flooding on the back nine. i should have been notified this when booking this tee time and at least been told by the starter when checking in. i was told by a maintenance worker on the 10th tee box. please refund me half my green fee.
9 holes only!
back nine is closed because of flooding and was not told by golfnow or the starter. maintenance told us on the 10th tee box.
Got to course and the back 9 was closed because of flooding even though I had paid full price for 18 holes. Eaglewood said I needed to talk with GolfNow but there is no way to get a partial refund from them and no phone number to call. At least give me a voucher for nine holes. Nice course though and I enjoy golfing there. Too bad the deck is closed as it is a nice place to eat and have a beer after golfing.
