Eaglewood Resort and Spa

We showed up on time for our tee time and pulled up to the first hole only to find out there is no one moderating the start of tee times. This being said we pulled up to the first hole of 8 guys on 4 different golf carts all teeing off and joking together . Given the fact they were already 2 people in to their tee off I went back and confronted the front desk about this and they then gave me the option to skip this hole and find a hole that isn’t busy and work my back . That is not the response I was looking for because who would want to do that . I then asked if we can start at the back 9 and even still they gave me a little bit of a hard time with is. This issue with the pace of play was an all day thing and could’ve been prevented if there was a person moderating the tee times and amount of people at a hole.

The course is well groomed and challenging but still good for advanced beginners.

I know what to expect on a weekend afternoon around Chicagoland but pace of play on this day was horrendous. Rangers aren't willing to let slower groups know and we eventually left after 15. It shouldn't take over 5 hours to play a course this short.

Course is nice. Not too difficult which is perfect for not so great players. The only bad thing was the place of play. It was extremely slow.

The course was in great shape. It definitely seemed geared toward an older demographic which affected pace, although other players & rangers were great about allowing us to play through.

Course is in good shape.... holes are tighly packed together and are in general short. Too short. I was able to drive 3 greens and most other holes were driver and 100 yards left. Only used 3 other irons all day. Nice course for people who do not hit long as it my provide more opportunities to use more clubs.
