Path and grounds

All the cart paths need to be redone. And the grounds were in need of care.

Gave a 5 for layout and 3 for condition. Maybe in the midst of a renovation. Tee boxes had newer sod and they noted upgrades on 2-7 in progress

Playable

First time at Willow Crest, overall experience was that it’s a playable course. Apparently on Tuesdays the bar cart is not active, which is shocking to me. For how much we paid for the course ($82 per person), I expected more in terms of the services (e.g. bar cart), better pace of play (e.g. group of regulars playing exceedingly slow), and most importantly, upkeep of the course. There was geese poop everywhere, pollen in a lot of places. Even more frustrating, the landscaping was happening while we were playing. The cart paths were equivalent to driving through potholes. Overall the value didn’t equate. I expected more.

Nice conditions fun track but….

Am a regular player here and like the staff and course but can get some very slow groups. Yesterday we played the front nine in just under 2 hours but back nine was completely backed up

Due to a very slow group that had 3 groups stacked up and waiting on every hole on the back.

Some type of message needs to be told what the expectations are for speed of play. This is something that would benefit all.

Good day with family

Played with our adult sons which we don’t get to do often and really enjoyed. Dons don’t play much right now so they struggled a bit but enjoyed the afternoon.

Nice course, staff was great and great condition

But play was really, really slow. We played behind a bachelor party. They hit the ball all over the place. No Marshalls to let them know how far behind they were. Almost a 3 hour front nine. Unacceptable.

Short but fun course

Greens were incredibly small but were in great shape. Fun, shorter course with plenty of challenges.

The course was really wet due to all the rain. It was cart path only. However, the pace of play was great and we enjoyed the round.

Very, very nice.

Excellent all around challenging layout, tee boxes, fairways, greens, even the rough was cut properly, plus fluffy sand! Great staff. Excellent burger after the round at Tin Cup. A+

Beautiful track

Course was extremely nice! Attached to a Hilton hotel. Fairways and greens were in GREAT shape. Only one or two tee boxes needed work but not a big deal as this was the beginning of golf season. Course was very challenging with a considerable amount of water and sand. The sand traps were really nice. Soft and raked. Very impressed. The wonderful lady in the pro shop was very nice and personable! Will definitely play here again!!!!

Good Value Good Layout

This course is a good challenge and great value especially if you play later in the day, definitely worth the $45-60 it typically is in the afternoon. Golfers looking for a good challenge should appreciate this course; if you spray it all over, you’ll get punished. The greens are challenging and have plenty of undulation. All holes have sand traps and most have some sort of water hazard. About half the holes are bordered by either parking lot, street, or residential yards, all on the left. You need to be precise with yardages and accurate with approach shots as greens are oblong and/or run diagonal to the angle of approach. I have only played this course twice and both were open tee sheets so nothing valuable to add on pace of play. 6 par 3’s is unique. Some of the tee boxes do have some sloping/crowning. Enjoyed it.
