Willowcrest
Played an early round here. Had a little frost but they did a great job of getting us off with only a 30 minute or so delay. Course was in really nice shape.
Improved
Course is much better maintained than in past years.
Course is extremely tight with absolutely no forgiveness between fairway or green and OB.
Great Course
Nice course in great condition and very friendly staff.
No Rangers = 5 1/2 hr round
Played on a Tues afternoon. The staff said they were not busy today. The front 9 were on pace. The back 9 was a different story. We were backed up at least 3 groups from the 10th hole on. After waiting at least 20 minutes between holes we gave up at hole 14. What would have taken us under 4 hours if we kept the first half pace, finishing the last 4 holes would have been another hour and a half. We talked to the staff and they were completely unaware (despite GPS enabled carts, which lets them know the pace of play). When we aborted our round, we notified the staff and they admitted they don’t use rangers.
Great Value
This course has been upgraded all around! Fairways, greens, tees and good sand in the traps. Really had a great time playing
Steep price for ballmark ridden greens.
This course isn't what it used to be. Maintenance has gone down hill. Greens look like they're being affected by a fungus. Definitely not worth the price. Highly advised to seek elsewhere to play.

Unique layout/scorecard. Everything was great for the most part, just the usual people not fixing their digits. Their halfway house didn’t have any food at 10:30am. Pack a snack if you play here early.
Much Better Bunkers!
Hats off to the crew at Willowcret. I haven’t played here in a couple of years since the dirt traps. Much better shape. I love the Dick Nugent layout. It makes for a much more enjoyable round when the course is in Good shape. I look forward to coming back! Staff was great.. cart girl outstanding!
