Fun course, but..
Sand traps are hard as rock. Most tee boxes are uneven. However, the layout is fun and the people are nice.
Overall, pretty good, but may not be worth the price depending on the day. Which is a shame, because I’d play here more if it was a little less expensive.
Always a nice course
This course is always in great shape and difficult layout. My one big strike against the course is that the sand traps didn't have barely any sand in them very disappointing. For a course with that many sand traps it would be nice to actually have sand I. Them not dirt and rocks.
The course was great for all levels of golfers
I like that it offered something for beginners, intermediate & top level golfers. Everyone was super nice, respectful, except one group played loud music. Otherwise it was a great experience. Would definitely go back.
The sand is like hitting off concrete and too overpriced for a Thursday at 10am
Great layout, poor bunkers
I really like this layout. Fairways and greens in great shape. For the money, they need to improve the bunkers. Inconsistent at best, not enough sand, similar to hitting out of hard-pan surface.
TERRIBLE SANDTRAPS!
I would have given this course 5 stars if not for the dismal conditions of the traps. We also enjoy the challenging layout of Willow Crest but unfortunately Hilton has allowed the sand traps to deteriorate into a mix of mainly dirt with some sand content. Hitting good bunker shots is almost impossible and ruined the day for our group. For $75, we expected much better conditions than what we experienced. In fact, we probably will not play here again until new sand is brought in. Also, there is no GPS on the golf carts; another feature that should be part of a $75 rate course.
Our group also thought that Hilton should offer a free pass into their pool at the end of the round for that day only. They could restrict to M-TH since there were few people in the pool and would create extra revenue via drinks and food that would be ordered poolside! A missed marketing opportunity.
Great course!
Good order and friendly staff, recommend.
Definitely Play Agin
Staff super nice and friendly. Cart paths can use a little work and couple directional signs from green to tee are needed.
Bunkers need attention
Great course but the bunkers are gravel pits - they really bring the place down. I won't be back until the bunkers are better.
