November Golf
Only problems were areas that are around trees and the grass is pretty much not there!
Course is improving
I've played here a number of times this year and the course was in sad shape from some spring flooding. They have resodded several areas and it's coming along nicely. Greens are excellent.
Bad Shape
Pace of play terrible, very slow, we waited on every shot. Played 13 holes and quit.
Fairways soggy with standing water.
Many ,many bare areas on the fairways.
Used to play this course on a weekly basis a decade ago when it was in pristine shape. It's a shame that Crane's Landing has deteriorated in this manner.
Cranes
good course, short but challenging. Enjoy playing golf thrre
Interesting layout
This course is a real challenge, fairly narrow fairways and mounded greens. Will definitely play again.
Crane’s landing
A little wet but course in good condition greens very good .
Used to be a nice course
I was a member of this course 15 years ago when it bloomed with flowers and was manicured perfectly. Well that is not the condition now. All dried out from weather. Some holes that were under water earlier were never fixed. Bushes and trees and all ground maintenance not kept up. Clubhouse not kept up. Locker rooms dirty. Understaffed. I suspect the weather has to do with some of the course faults but the trees and brush and general area have not been kept up at all. One person was there in the morning and he was getting carts , checking people in and just about doing everything. He was very professional and friendly. He deserves double pay for all he was doing.
Cranes Landing
1st timer player, but Cart paths are poorly marked, making driving from green to tee difficult. Played one hole out of order.
150 yard markers (striped stake) weren’t to be seen on multiple par 4 or par 5 holes. 50 & 100 discs in fairway are useless as they’re too small to be easily located.
Very fast greens
This is a short but very challenging course with ultra fast greens. On some greens a light touch of the putter results in a 40 foot roll.
