This course is a small gem
The course was in great shape considering the drought conditions at this time. I, especially, enjoy playing where the Tour Professionals played in the '70's. Challenging yet fun for the average golfer. Five sets of tees helps in this respect.
Challenging but Doable
Layout is good with water and sand. Course requires some thinking but average golfer can score well. Greens are true and in good shape.
Nice course

A True Gem...
Our expectations were high and this course did not disappoint. I would say it quickly became a favorite of ours. Everything was outstanding from the service in the pro shop to the very last detail on the course itself. We have golfed over 40 courses in the state this year and this course was by far the best maintained. Bermuda grass fairways with bent grass tees and greens all in fantastic shape. Everything very well marked. Plenty of water on the course (some places we frequent have no water). Full practice facilities with high quality balls on the driving range. Staff in pro shop and on course very friendly and courteous. All of this added up to a very comfortable round. They offer a stay and play that we are hoping to take advantage in the future. Get to Quail Creek and you will be glad you did.
Fun course
Nothing can be said negative about the course. Had a great time. Ever green was in good shape. Very good roll. Well maintained course. Will be next time we are in the area. Wife enjoyed as well.
Big Hit
The course is terrific. Looks easy on the scorecard but requires the golfer to hut with precision and thought. I will be back-very good time.
Great Course
I have been playing this course once a week now for the last 2 months, thanks to golf now!! It's a great course, has a variety of jokes both long and short, the green are true. And it never takes us longer than 3 1/2 to play. It's one of my favorite courses. Toss up between this one and Ironhorse in tuscola.
Short but challenging
Loved the course. It was in great shape. All the par 4 holes played pretty short but you can't just step up to the tee and use a driver. Very strategic. Always using a different club from the tee box. I will definitely be back.
Great course
Played 18 in under 3 hours, greens in smooth condition need to know course to play smart.
Quail Creek
Course in very good shape, had a great time. Various holes make you think. Staff was awesome
A fun tough test!
Another fun round at QCCC. This wooded course rewards straight ball hitters. With tree lined fairways it places a premium on tee play. Most of the par 5's are real challenges. It takes a BIG hitter to reach most of them in 2.
Greens were in good shape for the most part. But there were a few bad spots. Fairways were in great condition.
Will be back for another round for sure.
American Classic
This course has it all. Very challenging holes placed perfectly in the mature wooded setting. Would play it again and again.
I have wanted to play here for years
Excellent course for the money survived the worst winter in years and is in the best shape of any of the courses I have played in the two state area. Definitely will put a group together and return for another round before heading back to Florida for the winter. Greens are fast and true and the fairways and tee boxes are in great shape. Qudos to the staff for having their course in great shape in spite of the worst winter in years in the Midwest.
