Didn't honor Golf Now booking!
We traveled almost an hour for a Tee time reserved on Golf Now only to be greeted by a young female at the golf shop desk saying, (with a smirk on her face) "Sorry you can't get on, we don't work with Golf Now anymore.....can't and wont let you play!"
After contacting Golf Now who in turn contacted the course a few days later, I was informed that wasn't the case, yet we were advised not to book again, so we won't!
Quirky, but enjoyable.
Quail Creek is unfortunately a course that has been forgotten about due to the advancements in technology. With not really anymore room to add length, that won’t change. However, QC has great conditions, especially with the bent grass greens, that made it very enjoyable to play. I play 3 total rounds during the AJGA event there and enjoyed plotting my way around. Some of the quirky holes, like 6, were super difficult but fair. And the greens were Pebble Beach-esk with their size. Certainly would recommend to anyone in the area, but wouldn’t travel out of state to go play. Cool track!
Wet but fun
Greens in great shape. Course was very wet but enjoyed it!
Nice Spring day
Plyayed for 1st time in a few years. They have cut down a lot of trees and cleaned up the whole course which is nice. Course was relatively wet due to rains on previous days so it played long. Some rough areas on the course but it’s early yet so those things can be expected. Greens were excellent. All in all a nice day at a nice course. And price was right—$15 on Hot Deal on a weekend is a steal.
Well worth it
Greens had just been top dressed but still quick and rolled true. Very good experience
Great value and course
The course is a very good test of golf. It allows you to hit most of the clubs in your bag especially from the back tees. Greens Road very true and are Quick for the area. It’s well worth the trip to Robinson and a great value.
Interesting layout
We like these old country club courses. Not real long but challenging. Smaller greens but well protected,. Got off a bit early and finished in 3 hrs 30 minutes, Warm and windy day. Fairways need some attention, rough and greens in good shape, Would play again if we're back down this way.
Almost unplayable
My two sons and I got a hot deal to play and we’re reallly pumped to play it. But when pulled into the course we saw the fairways were all brown. When we were checking in the pro is on the phone with someone telling them green fees and cart would be $25. We paid $42 on hot deal. He was less than friendly. The greens were in good shape and we liked the layout but the course condition besides greens was awful
Fairway format but still playable
I like this course because it a placement course you have to hit a good yardage on many tees some are a bit tricky you only need 200 from tee then dogleg and som water it’s just a fun course it’s not just a grip and rip place , it’s not for a beginner
Former Pro Course still has it
Excellent course with good fairways, fast greens and plenty of patrol views to boot. Even a severe drought can't tarnish this course and it's challenging layout and varied holes.
The course is great nice layout
Bunkers in good shape over all just a great place to play all your clubs !!!
always in good shape and very good layout
very playable (senior tees) dry conditions but greens and tee boxes watered and good shape....
Fun Challenge......Bring Drinks
Had a great time. Fun, challenging yardages. The first course i have played that didnt turn at the clubhouse. Stock up on fluids because you will be playing all 18 without passing by the clubhouse. Absolutely loved the course though. Go play on a weekday afternoon for great pace and full enjoyment.
This course is a small gem
The course was in great shape considering the drought conditions at this time. I, especially, enjoy playing where the Tour Professionals played in the '70's. Challenging yet fun for the average golfer. Five sets of tees helps in this respect.
