Great Links Course
A rare links course in Southern Indiana, well maintained
Very enjoyable round of golf
Course was in very good shape . Layout is very good . Course we'll marked cart paths good shape. Greens were in great shape . Reccomend this course as a must play.
Fun Day
Tee boxes showing end of season wear, and traps need fresh sand, but everything else in great shape. Still need a driving range and better practice green.
Beautiful course
Enjoyed the golf course very well maintained. Only issue was no toilet paper in the bathrooms and not clean, grateful there were restrooms at all.
Fair test of golf
Very well maintained. Good mixture of wide and not so wide fairways. And challenging par 3’s. Such an enjoyable course to play.
I like this course just challenging enough to keep your interest
I like this course just challenging enough to keep your interest. I get an almost serene feeling when playing this course as there is almost no outside noise. The course is in much better condition than when I played earlier this year.
Always good
As always Rising Star casino keeps this golf course in great shape. My only complaint would be on the tee boxes. They needed a little attention, but the fairways and greens were in amazing shape.
Fun layout, mediocre conditions
We had a family trip to the casino this past weekend and this was the first time I’ve played the course. I really enjoyed the layout, but conditions left much to be desired. The bunkers were in horrible shape. The tee boxes could also use some work. Greens are in nice shape and rolled true. The fairways played friendly and the rough is sneaky thick. The conditions left my wallet feeling a little empty for what I got, but this is resort style golf. It’s worth a round anytime.
Good solid course
2nd time playing here in the past year. Extremely hot day, and very little wind, which makes it nearly unbearable on a links course.
Despite the heat, our 3some had a great time. Course was in good shape, pace of play was fair, and staff was friendly.
Overall, would recommend this course especially as one of the few true links courses in cincy.
Great course to play
Really enjoyed my round. Course was well maintained and pace of play was outstanding.
Beautiful
Course was beautiful. Very well maintained. From tee boxes to greens, everything was green green green.
Great day!
Perfect weather, awesome course layout, greens in great shape with true roll. Some of the waste areas were not in as good of shape as others. There were a number of geese that congregated on a few of the holes and left a lot of droppings on the tees and greens (a lot). Had a 2 some in front of a couple of 3 sones that was exceptionally slow for 9 holes and wouldn’t allow anyone to play through. Back 9 was GREAT (as the 2 some dropped after 9).
The Links at Rising Star
Great fun course to play with lots of variety and challenging holes.
