Swan Lake Resort
About Swan Lake Resort
The Swan Lake Resort unfurls across 500 acres of countryside in Plymouth, Indiana. The 36-hole resort is a throwback to a simpler time, opening in 1969. A charming hotel, quaint cottages, rustic cabins and modern villas house guests, while a state-of-the-art conference center, fitness center, pools and golf entertain them. The Dickies restaurant offers a nice menu, and Putter's Bar & Grille is the perfect hangout with TVs and a pool table. A golf academy can help your game if it fails to conquer the two courses.Facts

Bad service after golf
Had a great time at the course after we went too eat. the bar tender didn’t even come to our table after about 5 minutes of no contact we left. The server didn’t even say anything as we left. And it was slow there was only one other guy at the bar.
Nice course.
From what I played the course was in decent shape. The greens were very nice. Silver wasn’t completely paved with a cart paths. Pace was great on the front nine. Then as I made the turn the twosome in front of me said they were done and leaving. Not sure if they scheduled it, but all of a sudden there was a sixsome on 10s tee box. After waiting 20 minutes to get through 10 I turned back and left. It is a nice course, but nothing spectacular. I probably wouldn’t play again if I didn’t have the GN discount.
Heat basically gave the course to myself
Always play here at least once a year, and usually always enjoy it. It was very hot on the day I played and there was a threat of bad storms early in the afternoon which is why the course was super busy. GPS’s on the cart alerted me of weather moving but was able to complete my round with about 15 minutes to spare. Course conditions were good, especially the greens considering how hot and dry it’s been the last few weeks.
Fantastic course. One complaint
For your money you can’t beat it if you are booking on the app. The only problem with the course is that their cart girl is cash only. The smallest of complaints but at this point I would think they have the capability of taking cards anywhere. Other than that absolutely fantastic
Hidden Gem
Played both courses, great shape, some tough, some easy, some short ones that can get ya. Loved it, will be back.
First Round at Swan Lake Resort-Black Course
Beautiful Resort just North of Plymouth, IN. As you drive up, you see a large clubhouse and a large practice facility across the street. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Black Course was in very good shape for Mid-October. The greens had been aerated and top dressed, but were still very puttable and consistent. We had a beautiful sunny day with a light wind. I will be back to play the Silver Course.
Nice course with thick rough
Nice layout, plenty of hazards and challenges. The rough was very thick and long, which adds to the difficulty.
