Swan Lake Resort - Silver Course

I liked the course. It was medium difficulty. I have played on nicer courses but Swan Lake was OK. There is a lot of water but almost no sand traps.

The fairways were amazing. Like playing on thick green lush carpeting. Greens were excellent too but i will never forget the fairways.

Course is awesome! But was waiting 10 to 15 minutes at each hole. Then after our slow play, was told the kitchen closed at 5pm, so no sit-down meal. Course was packed for the evening. Bartender was rude about it also

Great golf venue.

It was really soggy and greens were recently aerated.

This course is really nice, with a nice flow from hole to hole (meaning they were laid out close to each other). The pace of play on this particular day was pretty slow. The greens were slow-medium. The course was completely covered in leaves. My wife and I lost a ridiculous amount of balls, simply because we couldn’t find them in all the leaves on the fairways. In my opinion, if you’re going to be open for play, have the course ready to play on, and clean up the leaves!

Overall, a really nice, well kept course. I’ll play again, just a little disappointed in the leaves not being blown off of the fairways, at least…

Had a great time at the course after we went too eat. the bar tender didn’t even come to our table after about 5 minutes of no contact we left. The server didn’t even say anything as we left. And it was slow there was only one other guy at the bar.

From what I played the course was in decent shape. The greens were very nice. Silver wasn’t completely paved with a cart paths. Pace was great on the front nine. Then as I made the turn the twosome in front of me said they were done and leaving. Not sure if they scheduled it, but all of a sudden there was a sixsome on 10s tee box. After waiting 20 minutes to get through 10 I turned back and left. It is a nice course, but nothing spectacular. I probably wouldn’t play again if I didn’t have the GN discount.

The course was fine. Nothing spectacular to me. Greens were in poor condition. Bar staff were not very friendly but the food was decent.
