Grayson Lake State Park

This course was tough, innovative, and a ton of fun to play. The bunkers are outlined but no sand in them, disappointing to be sure. If that is remedied I would give it five stars for sure. For campers at the state park it is ideal, and the staff was very accommodating

To any senior golfer reading this, don’t use GolfNow on M-Th. for this course. They offer a senior price equal to the GolfNow one without all the “convenience fees.”

The staff is excellent and the course is in very good condition for this time of year and considering the early spring weather. Bunkers are unplayable and tee boxes were a little shaggy but not terrible. I’ve played this course since it was built and have seen it in poor condition at times in the past but the fairways and greens are now as the should be. Layout is challenging but fair with big greens, wide fairways that wind through the landscape.

Great course, easily my favorite in the area! I drive 45-50 minutes to get here and still come every couple weeks because I love it so much! Love the layout of the course and the value for the price is great!

Tee boxes and the bunkers could use some work and they don’t have the markers on the tee boxes out either but it’s still early spring and everything’s not going to be in pristine condition right now and they’ve been doing maintenance and work on the course every time I’ve been out throughout the fall. Will continue going regularly and can’t wait to see how it looks when everything turns green again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my round at Hidden Cove at Grayson Lake State Park. The Kentucky State Parks Golf Trail is AMAZING. The course was immaculate despite the first weekend of December. I will make another trip to Grayson, from Huntington, WV, and I know I will be challenged and leave happy.

Course in excellent shape. Even doing decent job keeping up with the leaves.

Had bunch of turkeys with us for a few holes.evidently they were tired of watching us play so bad they went to find someone better.

The course overall was good. The tee boxes Needs some work but overall in decent shape. What really needs help are the so-called sand traps. It looks as though they are letting them go and not maintaining them. Nice layout of the course, There are some blind shots but overall pace of play was good. One thing that I did notice was that people don’t replace or fix their divots, it’s common courtesy and golf etiquette to fix your divot and one more, if everyone did this the greens would be much better.

Challenging, but fun.

Some tee boxes were not very well maintained and many bunkers, but it really was a fun course to play. Staff was great and course design was neat.

I understand 27 sand traps will be fixed next month

Kentucky state parks golf courses are wonderful

One of the nicest courses around, very well maintained. Greens were fast and the course is pretty long but open in most spots, good challenge.

They need to fix sand bunkers , they gave let them go!

Everyone is friendly and Lucy does a great job handling the clubhouse

As soon as covid is over i hope they put sand back in traps

Grayson was in good shape, fairways are still dormant but the ball was rolling well and the greens look great. Seems they may be working on some bunkers but others are in bad shape but understandable with cost of bunker upkeep. Overall very nice
