Close to home affordable using golf now. Worth a trip as it's a bit far from any city.

Greens were nice and the fairways new grass has filled in really great, Hard to know they are less than a year old.

The new fairways are great, ball sets up really well.

The course was in great shape. A great day of golf.

Very nice layout,challenging but if you hit the fairway you can score.Greens roll nicely .Look forward to going back . Wish they sold beer but its a state park.That wont keep me from going back.

Slow play was caused by group of 5 players, held up groups behind them not allowing groups (three or less) to play through.

Great course in great shape, the fairways are coming in nice and the greens had good speed to them.

After changing fairway grasses last summer have stayed away from Hidden Cove until conditions improve. Saw GolfNow hot deal I couldn't pass up and decided to give it a shot. Staff was very friendly upon arrival and was off to first tee very quickly. Tees were immaculate (played the 1's however which don't get much use). Greens have recently recovered from aeration and were a touch slow from sand but rolled very true. Fairways being the new Bermuda are coming out of dormancy in late April early May which is normal for Kentucky. As the growing season continues I see any bare or poa annua areas to be lush Bermuda turf by mid summer as long as they are patient in keeping the carts off it. Bunkers were in the process of their spring face lifts and sand fills. Ran into a rude threesome on hole 14 and waited on every shot in without a ranger in site, but it was a weekday. All in all can't wait to come back to this place several times this summer. In my opinion easily top 10 public course in the state and with the amount of play it gets Bermuda will make sure great conditions stay constant into the heat of late summer.

I booked a great price of $19 to play the course online it's not worth 44 dollars right now. The course is very wet and the fairways are horrible. The greens are like putting on carpet. The good news is the greens are solid, just need to be cut. The course has a great layout. Once the weather gets hot and there's no rain this wil be one of the best courses in the state. If I had paid $44 to play the course I would have been very upset.
I can't wait to go back and play the course. I hope the fairways recover from all the rain.

Not bad for early season conditions. Would like to play again when my game and the conditions get a little better ; )

It's a very good course for the money. I caught it after heavy rains. Still a little early in the year. Fairways were soggy and brown. Sand was hard and packed down. Great course in the summer. Average in the spring.

The course has been seeded with new burmuda fairways. They are of course still dormant but are great to hit off of. The greens were punched last week and are still smooth enough to get a decent putt. Will be in great shape in a few weeks.

The course recently upgraded Fairways to Bermuda. It plays very well but their is quite a bit of ragweed coming through the Bermuda. 18 holes for 2 people took almost 5 hours due to so many groups in front of us. The group behind us was quite rude and we're yelling at us from the tee box while we were in the Fairway. In time this course will easily be 4 star.

Great tough course., but was not in great shape. Fairways were not great. Sand traps were horrible. Greens were good.

A challenging course that is great to for the area, always in solid condition.

With multiple tee boxes, advanced golfers and beginners will enjoy this track. Course ratings appear high to me though. It's not as difficult as rating and slope indicate.

Greens are good but slow and sand bunkers are not maintained. But course design and layout is great. Value for the money to play is one of the best.

Fairways had been mowed recently and there was excess grass in a lot of places but over all the course was in good shape. Will play it again soon.
