The 72-room lodge of the Kentucky Dam Village State Park overlooks the historic Kentucky Dam, where Kentucky Lake meets the Tennessee River. But it's the Village Green Inn that attracts golfers being adjacent to the 6,700-yard golf course. Sixty one cottages and camping are also available. Boating is a popular pursuit with a marina and rentals for fishing boats, pontoon boats and ski boats. Hiking, swimming at a beach or outdoor pool and eagle watching (200 nesting pairs call the area home) are available. The Harbor Lights Restaurant and Harbor Lights Lounge keep guests fed.Facts

Beautiful day, Best course in western Kentucky
I had heard several different things about the Dam course ranging from I would love it to its not very good.. I can only say that if you don't like this course and layout and staff, you might want to check your pulse
It has been a long time in my 60 years being totally stunned, and this is one I am really happy that happened
Gorgeous course
You can't ask for much better than this. I even had my lob wedge delivered to me when I left it on the green on accident. This course is well maintained and absolutely beautiful.
Perfect conditions
Coming from FL to visit where I grew up here in KY. The conditions were absolutely perfect. I have never had to walk a course, but we were totally aware of that going in. It could not have been a better experience walking 18 for the first time. The staff was so friendly and the pro, Suzanne, is wonderful. There was hardly anyone out there so the pace was perfect. This will be a treasured golf experience.
Very challenging course
The course was in immaculate condition, not a course to walk though with all the hills, but still enjoyed...

A Friendly Favorite
Just love this course. Nice layout, and friendly staff. Play it 5-10 times a year. Worth the drive from So. IL.
Fairway is the key
Rough is a fluffy type grass. Golf course is challenging especially if you don’t hit fairways.
Kentucky Dam
We enjoyed the course. We had not played golf for several months,they do not have a driving range but we just took it easy and enjoyed the day. Kentucky Dam Village is near. We had a great breakfast there before starting golf. Went back for dinner a few days later and were very disappointed. We will play the course again on our next visit to the area.
The course was very soft
A lot different than the course I usually play. Much slower greens and the fairways were great. Nice to be able to take a divot. Definitely go back

A great golf value.
This was my first time playing this course, and I was very pleased. The course is in excellent condition. The greens were undulating and pristine, and the bunkers had an ample amount of white fluffy sand. The clubhouse did not offer any hot snack items, but they did have refrigerated sandwiches as well as beer, soda, gatorade and candy bars. My only negative feedback would be the cart paths could use some improvements. Play this course...you won't be disappointed!
