The golf course grass is not well maintained. The restaurant closes too early. I want my money back.
Tee box and green in good condition
Big improvement from couple years ago in terms of course condition especially tee box and green. Played in the afternoon in 100 degree so course was pretty empty so no issue with pace. Friendly staff. I will visit again.
Always a pleasure to play River Marsh
We always enjoy playing River Marsh two to three times per year. The layout is fantastic. The course conditions are as good as they could possibly be. Here’s my complaint. A large number of people that play this course make zero effort to repair their ball narks on the greens or divots in the fairways. I feel for the course superintendent. That person is doing all they can to make this a premier course only to watch it be carved up by a disrespectful public.
One of my favorites!
What a perfect day and excellent course! Of course #17 is my favorite, even if I don’t get over every time ha!. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. From check in to leaving after my round, the staff make it easy and enjoyable. I played on Saturday 6/1, finished just around 4 hours, maybe a little over but no complaints, it was a GORGEOUS day and everyone wanted to be out on the course. It’s expected and glad to see the place is busy! To the reviewer of “course sucked” on 5/20, did you select the wrong course to review??? Dude must have had a bad day or was playing his worst round because this course was in top shape! And the director, is LPGA…pretty sure she’s played golf. Definitely play this course!
Great job
I play out here pretty frequently and it's always fantastic. Very friendly and helpful staff as well.
Great day of golf
Very nice golf course, staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the round
Canadien Geese
Geese everywhere, especially on16 where they and there droppings are destroying the fairways and greens. Desperately needs the geese police.
Course sucked
New we were in trouble when we went to putting green and it was ankle high clover. After 1st 9 holes we stopped in to ask for refund as the course rough hadn't been mowed in at least a week. Women in pro shop says" just hit it in the fairway " and blew us off. After finishing 10th hole a loosing 1 dozen balls in 6inch high rough the Director of Golf Abby met us with grounds supervisor. She expressed she's never played golf but the course was perfect and it was mowed 3 days prior. Are foursome is a very good of golfers with one having a son on the PGA tour so we know quality course's. Finally the groundskeeper admitted there budget only allows rough mowing 7-10 days and Abby was desperately trying to entice us with free rounds. Btw we saw a total of 9 golfers on the entire course. Do your self a favor just go to queenstown, cheaper and always in top condition.
Great Course
Great round on a beautiful scenic golf course, conditions were great and the staff was helpful and friendly. Will be back to play again soon.
call first
I left after 9 holes which took over 3 and a half hours The paced sucked
TOUGH DAY
LOVE THE COURSE WOULD LIKE TO PLAY IT MOORE OFTEN. LAST TIME OUT THE WIND WAS THE BIG WINNER.
Greens Aerated
I completely understand the need for green aeration, but please don't tell me when I call ahead that the greens are healed and rolling great. They were not healed and the holes still seemed pretty fresh. My friends drove almost 2 hours to meet me there after I called earlier in the week to ask about the greens.
