Beautiful, fast
We played as a twosome teeing off at noon and finishing in just under 3 hours with no need to play through other groups. Greens were in good shape, most bunkers were not maintained, and the rough was a little overgrown. No problem with new protocols, and everyone at the course was very friendly and helpful.
Nice round
Nice enough course, but conditions weren’t great. Very nice track for multiple skill level. It is tiring to walk because of long distances between tees, fyi.
Not Ready
I heard this was a nice course. Drove 100 miles to get there. I realized the course just opened last week. This course wa not managed, when closed. Grass cut haphazardly, bunkers were unplayable. Tree limbs and other debris could have been picked up. No advance warning of course conditions when checking in. Will not return.
Beautifully windy
Beautiful course ...love playing it and took a first timer out there on 35 to 40 mph wind gusts lol had an absolute blast...82 for myself and 99 for my buddy from the blue tees...can't wait to come back !!!
First Round after Coviad-19
AS usual course in pretty good shape.
Greens looked fast, but were slower than normal.
Fairways very good cut tight.
Forget bunkers right now.
Tee Boxes good.
39-35 not bad
Nice day
Course is in really good shape for this time of year. Staff is great
An Eastern Shore must
Maryland’s Eastern Shore has great golf course offerings, and although most of them are on the Atlantic Coast, River Marsh located in Cambridge, is a wonderful experience. The course can challenge any level with 5 sets of tees, some subtle elevations, changing winds, but also generously wide fairways.
17 & 18 are two great finishing holes!
Staff is Friendly & helpful making the venue a “must play” stop if you’re heading to or from Ocean City. Also an easy day trip from the Baltimore Washington areas
We will definitely play there again!
Great course
Well maintained, great staff, course is well taken care of.
I typically only get the chance to play the Hyatt in the winter, and the course never disappoints. Course is still in great shape and shows no harsh signs of winter. With the golf now deal you receive, playing this course is a no brainer.
Some of the course amenities are down due to the slow season but this doesent hinder the course in anyway.
Beautiful course
End of December and recent rains meant unusual situations for this course...driving range closed and fairways/bunkers did not play well. But this is a scenic course and the greens were in great condition.
Aniversary round
Played this course with my wife on our 55th weddding aniversary. Weather was perfect and the course was in excelent condition. We may have passed our prime as golfers but found the course fair and no-intimidating for our skill level. We tee'd off in late morning and were not held up nor pushed by others playing the course. Bag boys/girls and cart girls were pleasent and accomidating as were all the staff we encountered. Accomidations at the resort are first class and I would recommend staying and playing here.
WEt Day
Well it was 50 Degrees today and sunny. Course was Very wet and cart paths only. Which made for a LONG Day. Green spongy and Slow. But thats to be expected this time of year. For Price it was OK.
Great course, one of best on Eastern maryland
I love playing at this course. I think it rivals courses in myrtle and definitely in top 3 in Maryland in my opinion. Will def play here again.
Wonderful experience
I can’t say enough about this course. The course is beautiful, the surrounding area is beautiful, and Max is an amazing pro in the pro shop.
From the minute I pulled up until we completed our round, it was an amazing experience.
This is the best course that I have ever played on. And, with the deals you get from Golfnow it is unbeatable. The 17th and 18th holes alone are worth the entire price of admission :-)
Great course
This course is always in good shape and today did not disappoint. Greens were excellent and fairways were very good. Course is very challenging. Our group moved quickly and staff was excellent. We talked to the course pro and promised to return
nice course with beauty
Played today for first time in two years at River Marsh. The course is in good condition, and the greens were really nice. Some very challenging par 3s. This is a course where you can have a great round if you keep the ball in the fairways. Winds made it challenging today, with some heavy crosswinds and winds in your face off the tees. Several very picturesque holes and lots of wildlife made this a relaxing round though.
