Hot day
Rough too high. Needs cutting. Course decent shape and layout. Greens very good. Very hot day. Enjoyed myself.
Great course
Very nice course great shape good price just had to turn the heat down hot day
Sand traps
The course was amazing. The only complaint I have is the sand traps. Yes I spent way too much time in them. They didn’t have enough sand and the edges could have been kept up better. Again the course was amazing.
Always a winner
Always a lot of fun. Always in perfect shape and the staff are fantastic.
Loved it
Bent greens, bent fairways and tees.
Great condition, great layout with a good mixture of holes; short, long, hard, easy, etc.
Loved the course and will surely be back!
Wonderful experience
The Hyatt golf course truly is a phenomenal destination for a round of golf. We booked a hot deal and made a long drive to play and were not disappointed. The course was in beautiful shape and the staff was excellent and very knowledgeable about the course. I would highly recommend this course to anyone if the price is right.
great course in excellent shape
This is a well laid out, well maintained course with lots of fun holes, including two that abut the Choptank River. Prices vary a lot, but if you can get a decent deal at golf.now, go for it.
Such a Beautiful Course
Played the Course on Friday May 30th. My GF had stayed at the Hyatt Chesapeake on numerous occasions and played River Marsh during those stays. We decided to turn into the Resort to check on things and I decided to play a round at the GC. I was a Walk-on so the rate was $62.00 single player + $48.00 Cart Fee for 2 riders. She did not want to play so our Total Cost was $112.00. We followed 2 groups and we enjoyed the day looking at how this place has grown with Townhomes and Condo's. On the 2nd Hole, you will notice a row of T/H on the left, on the very end some of the homes at holes from hooked shots off the tees. SCARY!!. Upon heading to the 17th Tee, we noticed a plaque, which turned out to be a burial area of the previous residence back in 1935. We also came across another plaque which talked about the Plantation and Mansion. Such a historical place. The 17th, is a Par 3 across a small river, which played 184 to the pin. The 18th is a Par 5 with spectacular views of the Bay and the Hotel. When we got done, we decided to stop and have a late lunch. We decided we would plan a get away for the July 4th weekend back to the Hyatt at Cambridge.
River Marsh Golf Course
Staff was very pleasant during check in. Started promptly at our tee time. Course was not crowded. Pace of play was quick. Course was in excellent condition. Some holes were more challenging but basically the course was good for an intermediate golfer. Hole #18 is very scenic,
Course Conditions Were Very Good
The course was in excellent shape and the pace of play was very good.
Great layout, great course conditions, water in view was very nice compared to the normal round of golf, staff was amazing from clubhouse to cart men, would highly recommend to any golfer.
This is an excellent golf course
One of my favorite golf course’s, I normally play it 2 to 3 times a year.
Beautiful course
Excellent course! Even with all the recent rain the course was not overly soggy. Greens were perfect, with one exception. While playing, wild turkeys were spotted, along with 8 or 10 deer. A very enjoyable day.
Beautiful course in great condition
The River Marsh Golf Club is a fantastic course. The golf course is in great condition except that some of the tee boxes need to recover from too many divots.
The layout is challenging because there is water lining the side of many holes and marsh land strategically placed across many fairways. However, the fairways are fairly wide so only strong slices of hooks will generally find major trouble.
The course is women friendly because the you never have to carry across marsh land off the red (carry across marsh land is still required in many fairways).
We will definitely play River Marsh again!!!
