Course in good shape for time of the year
Course was in good condition. They had just aerated the greens which made putting tough. I can tell in spring and summer it is a beautiful course. I would like to play again then.
The course is always in good shape. And for the end of November, it was in very good shape.
This was a great deal. I decided to book the deal at the last minute (7:30 a.m.), and the tee time was for 9:30 a.m. By the time I got to the course, the voucher was already there. Played a nice course for $27, when it would have cost me about $60. Will definitely continue to use GOLFNOW.
A beautiful course..we'll maintained..no marshals
..no marshals but the cart girl was terrific. The fairways and bunkers were great for the weather. Other local courses seemed to not weather the cold as well. the grounds people there have been there for at least 10 years..it shows. I 've have had trouble booking with them..never having a tee time available ..but they seem to clean up their act some...not like Queenstown..still acting up.
Beautiful setting
Course overall in good shape. Greens were average speed. A couple of them were a little worn but for this time of year were good. Saw some bucks and blue heron on course. Great deal thru Golf now as usual.
A have to play course in Md
Got a great deal on golf now .Never played here the course is great. A lot of great holes and the views were great. Played from the blues and was a great challenge. If your in Md. this is a must play course.
Great Course - pricey but a good splurge
It was late in the season when I played so there were a huge # of ball marks, divots etc on the fairways, tee boxes etc. But it's a beautifully designed course, along the river and marsh. Lots of wildlife, a gopher ran across the tee box on 17 right after we vacated! It's probably the best designed course in the region.
Great Course That will Test You!
River Marsh truly takes the surrounding land features and blends them into a great golf experience. First, you don't get cheated when they say "Marsh" as they come into play on many of the holes. Second, there is a ton of soft white sand bunkers so be tactical with both tee and fairway shots. This course has 5 par 3's including the well known 17th. You want to "club up" on 17 for sure! Greens have a moderate degree of undulation and break. Try to stay below the holes as the speed will easily put you facing a 3-putt. Ever have deer stand next to the tee box and watch your drive? They will at River Marsh! Will for sure go back.
Great track. Pristine condition on the grens, fairways and tees. Looking forward in playing it again soon.
Great course, well maintained an with friendly staff. Will go back and play it soon.
Very nice course. Scenic views
Enjoyed the course. Windy October afternoon. Very challenging
Tough par 3's. We had a foursome and were annoyed by several twosomes and singles coming up behind and we let play through.
Natural Beauty
I prefer a course in a natural setting away from housing. This
course offers just that. River Marsh winds through wetlands,
creeks and the beautiful Choptank River. Mature trees add to
the prestine setting along with a abundance of wildlife. The course has a few challenging holes, but also offers many
chances to capture those birdies. A true pleasure to play.
Would recommend this course a must play. Dennis W.
