Great Course - pricey but a good splurge

It was late in the season when I played so there were a huge # of ball marks, divots etc on the fairways, tee boxes etc. But it's a beautifully designed course, along the river and marsh. Lots of wildlife, a gopher ran across the tee box on 17 right after we vacated! It's probably the best designed course in the region.

Great Course That will Test You!

River Marsh truly takes the surrounding land features and blends them into a great golf experience. First, you don't get cheated when they say "Marsh" as they come into play on many of the holes. Second, there is a ton of soft white sand bunkers so be tactical with both tee and fairway shots. This course has 5 par 3's including the well known 17th. You want to "club up" on 17 for sure! Greens have a moderate degree of undulation and break. Try to stay below the holes as the speed will easily put you facing a 3-putt. Ever have deer stand next to the tee box and watch your drive? They will at River Marsh! Will for sure go back.

Very nice course. Scenic views

Enjoyed the course. Windy October afternoon. Very challenging
Tough par 3's. We had a foursome and were annoyed by several twosomes and singles coming up behind and we let play through.

Natural Beauty

I prefer a course in a natural setting away from housing. This
course offers just that. River Marsh winds through wetlands,
creeks and the beautiful Choptank River. Mature trees add to
the prestine setting along with a abundance of wildlife. The course has a few challenging holes, but also offers many
chances to capture those birdies. A true pleasure to play.
Would recommend this course a must play. Dennis W.
