The Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest overlooks Ford Lake, much like the adjacent Eagle Crest Golf Club, home of the Eastern Michigan University men's and women's golf teams. The hotel offers 40,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor event space. It is minutes from EMU's campus in Ypsilanti and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Golfers can dine at the Terrace Room in the hotel or the Eagle Crest Grille with an indoor/outdoor seating at the clubhouse. The fitness center also has an indoor pool. Great track for the hot deal price.
Got a hot deal today for $45 for the round. For that price it feels like I'm stealing. Conditions were great and pace of play was country club level. Only critique us that some tee boxes are not too far from the last holes green. Almost got dinged a couple times by a less than graceful golfer behind us. All was good they were polite about it. Just don't drop your guard on some holes.
Amazing course
Travelled to Michigan for work, was able to play this gem!
Course was immaculate, challenging, and very beautiful; even the rough was nice! Views were awesome and staff was on top of their game. Very friendly and helpful.
Fast, undulated greens make putting a challenge but the greens were top notch.
Would recommend this course to anyone who can make it.
Eagle Crest
Green conditions are excellent for all 18 halls, and course layout was very good with surronding views. I'd like to come back again later with my friends.
Perfect day. Surprise tee time was available at 2p. Randomly joined with 2 very nice guys. Course was not crowded and in average play condition. Some cosmetic repair in progress but didn’t affect golf play at all. Find the course to be in a beautiful setting by the water. Moderately challenging course. Always enjoy playing it.
Great course not worth $85 in summer
Course rating is good just because 12 and 18 were under repair. Course has great views while golf. Spring rate is $48 not worth summer rate of $85. There are better Courses for less cost.
Underwhelming
The course was nice but it’s too close together and the pace of play was slow
