The Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest overlooks Ford Lake, much like the adjacent Eagle Crest Golf Club, home of the Eastern Michigan University men's and women's golf teams. The hotel offers 40,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor event space. It is minutes from EMU's campus in Ypsilanti and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Golfers can dine at the Terrace Room in the hotel or the Eagle Crest Grille with an indoor/outdoor seating at the clubhouse. The fitness center also has an indoor pool. Amazing track!
Such a beautiful course ! Wish pace of play was quicker
Great course normally.
Usually this is a great track unfortunately the greens were punched bumpy and slow. Something not normal for this course I don’t have a problem with that at this time of year, but they should tell you first before you book because the price for punched greens for me is five bucks you can keep them! I would not have played that course if I knew the greens were that bad for that kind of money. 👎

Not a good time to play
It was too cold and windy, so I was not happy with the round. It’s not the right time to play. The complaint about the course is the layout, the different fairways are not separated well. I had to pay attention to the previous group, as well as the other group which might appear on the fairway because of a slice or hook.

Poor layout
Fairway is not separated well, always see your neighbors on your fairway, too dangerous!

Great course….but clean the goose crap around the greens
Great course, good carts with GPS, good clubhouse food, all is good….except please clean the goose crap away from the greens and fairways near the greens. Need more of an effort to keep the geese away as it ruins hole #2 and a few others. Have to be careful walking, were you set clubs down, plus sometimes the ball rolls over it or it is right where you want to stand to hit the ball.
Great having an area to practice chipping and driving range is good.

Did not practice golf etiquette...became way to frustrating..not worth being agitated. Will try another time.

A pleasure to play
Our foursome travelled from Canada to play this course and we were not disappointed. The course was immaculate from tee to green. The staff greeted us with a friendly welcome. There is water, elevation changes and the views are stunning.

Great Course/and Scenic...Very Reasonable $$
I have to say I was impressed. Thought it was going to be another average Marriott resort course. Turns out it is the home course of Eastern Michigan University golf team. They keep it spectacular. And for the $42 on a week day, you can not beat it!
Don't hesitate...give it a try if near Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor!

Great shape
A lot of the upper end courses I have played this year have been in rough shape. Not Eagle Crest. Greens were fast and true. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, rough areas were all in great shape. On top of that, it's a great layout. Highly recommend if you've never been.
