Cottages at Dunmaglas

Course was awsome. Carts tucked. No bar or restaurant. Greens fees a little high for lack of off course amenities.

This was my first time playing Dunmaglas. The layout is spectacular with plenty of elevation and beautiful views of the lake. The fairways and greens were in adequate condition. The rough was filled with clover. The facilities were nearly nonexistent. A new owner willing to invest in facilities and improved course conditions could turn this beautiful property into a great course!

Simply stunning. Perfect and fast greens. Stunning views. Clubhouse is a joke but not why you come.

I come up and play almost every year. Course is in solid shape. A few greens have some rough spots but everything else is in awesome shape. Course is tough and the green run on the slow side, but if they were faster they would be even harder. Best views in the area. It's a must play.

Dead spots all over greens. No direction. Zero amenities. Bring your own water/beers.

The hardest course I have ever played. But I would play it again. Wish it was cheaper

This is one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in N Michigan. I"ve played it over the past 3 decades. It is VERY hard, very narrow. But, what a mess. My cart got stuck in the mud on the first hole (in fairway)... the third hole had a swamp in the middle of the fairway. If you like dandelions it is perfect. My yellow ball was not detectable in the sea of yellow in the 1 foot tall rough. I switched to white balls which were good until back nine and all dandelions were white. Rough was rough. Greens pretty good. Carts ready for Smithsonian. Time for owner to sell this course to someone who will take care of it. Sad to see. It was a tough winter...but other courses have handled it better.

Got a great deal on GolfNow to playin Wed morning. This course is extremely intimidating with lots of danger, along with beautiful views. If you don’t play conservative, it will destroy you. Course in great shape and greens putted pure. This course is too difficult for beginners but a great course if you want something different and a great challenge. Staff was friendly. Highly recommended.

This is a must play course if you want a genuine northern Michigan course with great elevation changes and no houses. Greens and fairways always in wonderful condition. From the higher points you can see lake Charlevoix and lake Michigan.

Have played many times, but in last few years it was becoming a pasture..

What happened??!

Yesterday it was in great shape, mowed, manicured and new carts..

Then I discovered it’s for sale..
