Such a fun course to play! Greens were perfect everything was perfect! Loved every hole.

Great golf course...the Bear. Beautiful and challenging..

Though the pace of play was very slow, we enjoyed the beauty of the course and took lots of pictures in between shots waitin.

They put tee times 10 minutes apart so ny the time I reached the 5th hole there were 3 groups waiting. I quit after 9 holes. Would have been a 5 hour round.

Played early morning tee time and course was is excellent condition. Never had to wait or be pushed along. Would definitely come back to play again.

We booked a hot deal. The course was overbooked and we were only able to get 12 holes in before the sun set. Overall really nice course and cool layout. Very nice staff and pro shop. A little hard for our skill level.

Great place to play a round the bear lives up to its name the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like a home course

Played Spruce Run, beautiful couse and conditions were great. Definitely recommend.

The Bear never lets up.

I have played 3-4 rounds here, and every time, my game does not hold up to the constant pressure supplied by tough carries over water and bunkers and greens that aren't easy to read or putt. It's a championship test with just enough wiggle room for resort players to get by. I wouldn't mind seeing the rough a little shorter. With so many penal aspects to the course design, players deserve some sort of concession. It might be the key to getting more players to embrace its challenges, instead of shying away from trying again.

I played the Wolverine the day after getting beat up by The Bear, and what a difference it made with my post-round mood. Shooting 83 is so much more enjoyable than struggling to 96.

The Wolverine still has its challenges. The elevation changes are more dynamic than The Bear. The greens and bunkering remain plenty demanding. The first time I played it, I didn't appreciate its beauty. Now I do. It's my favorite course at GTR.

greens and fairways in good shape although greens were slowest on 5 rounds played in Gaylor area. course plays long and it seemed every hole played uphill and long. were a few wet spots in fairways but course in good shape following recent rain closures.. the Combo yellow white tee was good senior tee

What a Treat! First Class! Pace of play was fast and course is outstanding.

I was very disappointed. The round was very expensive. There were no carts available and so we missed our tee time waiting for a cart. The bunkers were in the worst condition of any course I’ve ever played (except for the Bear which is on the same property and has the same terrible bunker conditions. We sat behind golfers who were very slow and clearly don’t play much which meant for a very very slow and long round. If you rate the course based on price per hour then it was a good value I guess.
