Gull Lake View Golf Resort

This is quite frankly one of the best traditional or old school type golf layouts in south central Michigan that is public. I’ve always heard very good to great things about it and I have to agree. Great fairway and green contours with bunkers strategically placed that require good shot making in order to score. The greens were fabulous - very well manicured and consistent bent grass. Plenty of teeing areas that become narrow in the landing range with mature trees. No easy par 3’s. I think it gets less play than some of the other well-known courses in the area as it takes some time to get North of Battle Creek on various roads but once you’re there… Wow, enjoy!

Great course, played on the way back MSU Homecoming. Course conditions were great. Greens are challenging. Fun course.

Well kept for the time of year. Beautiful course. My golf game was bad so I was able to explore every inch of it

By luck, we were able to play the first nine of each of the east and the west courses at Gull Lake resort. Both courses were beautifully maintained. We didn’t have anyone in front of us or behind us. The starter and the staff were very friendly. Couse conditions were pristine. It appeared to me that the east course was a little more challenging than the west for the front nine, but both were beautiful. Can’t wait to go back and play again as the leaves are changing this fall!

It was beautiful day outside yesterday and course was in great conditions. Greens were tough to read it’s always to try to stay underneath the Pin. I would definitely let my friend know that this great course to play. It beautiful day to play golf. ⛳️.

I had a great time playing today. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. I feel like I got a very good value through GolfNow. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. The course conditions were great. The greens were very smooth and rolled pure. I kept leaving putts short today thinking they would roll more, but they were always in the heart. Finding the fairway more would have been helpful, you paid the price for spraying it around! Pace of play was no issue at all, and at times it felt like we had the place to ourselves.

Great layout. Easy to keep the ball in play from any tee. You had better bring your best putting abilities. Very scenic and tucked back nicely into some hills. Friendly people in the pro shop and at the halfway house. I will definitely be back.

The course was in "excellent" shape as usually! it was only two of us & we had a few foursomes in front of us that would not let us play through. Shameful! However, the Ranger saved us after 4 holes & took us to the back where we played that nine in a little over an hour. We were able to return to the from to finish the final holes on the front in about an hour. A Ranger "being a great host"!!!
