Inn at St. John’s
About Inn at St. John’s
This unique property became a golf resort in 2006 when the former St. John's Provincial Seminary reopened as the Inn at St. John's, a boutique, four-diamond property adjacent to the 27-hole Brae Burn Golf Club. The 118-room inn features Romanesque architecture, two ballrooms with 25-foot ceilings, a two-story atrium and 22 meeting rooms. The more casual Burger Loft complements the fine dining 5ive Steakhouse and Bar. The course, dating to 1923 before a third nine was added in the 1990s, shares its site with Carl's Golfland at St. John's, one of the country's premier golf stores. There's also a covered, heated range at Carl's to bang balls year-round to prepare for your battle with "The Monster" - the nickname for the 666-yard 13th hole, the longest par 5 in the state.Facts

Quick round
Course isn’t very crowded because it’s cartpath only which sucks
Home of the Monster and challenging old greens
Always go there for the greens being mostly true and the Monster Par 5, 666 yards from the tips! Good bang for the buck
Great value and good challenge
For early spring, the course was in excellent condition. Tess fairways and green all in good condition. Weather was not great so the course was not busy and our twosome finished in 3h 45min.
Course is challenging enough for mid-teen handicappers. Overall a good value
Braeburn gc
Extremely challenging greens. Might be none tougher
The course wasn't even open
Completely dissatisfied. Booked a tee time in the morning and when we showed up at the course, the parking lot was gated shut and the course was closed. Not a good look for this course.
Good quality
The course was in very good condition, even with it being late in the year. There were plenty of leaves falling but the grounds crew had cleared the fairways and greens nicely. The greens are definitely difficult with the hard back to front sloping, so it provided a challenge for sure even if you got to the green quickly.
Back At Brae Burn for another Great Round
Always Great to make it out to Brae Burn. My opinion a Very unique and " Historic" course. Love to play courses from the Designers from the past!
Greens suck
Put some money into this place, take care of the greens and it could be something. To many gimmicks. L
