Beautiful Scenery
Something you see in a magazine. One of God's most beautiful creations! Course is well maintained. Very friendly staff in the club house and on the course.
Oaks Course - A Gem for the Weekend Warrior
If you are looking for a break from your home track, give the Dancing Rabbit Oaks course a try. Love this course. Beautiful layout. The weekend warrior golfer can score here as the course is challenging but fair. Forgiving off the tee box. Greens could not be more pure. I love this course, and you cannot beat the value.
Wide open fairways, accessible greens that putt fast
I played the Oaks a couple of weeks after playing The Azaleas course. Both are in fine condition. I found the Oaks to be shorter, more wide open, and the greens more easily accessible than at The Azaleas. The greens also putted noticeably faster.
The opening hole is a Par 3, at only 312y (I played the Whites). There are 2 other par 4s less than 300y. 6100y total. Of course, there are 5 sets of tees overall so you can get a distance challenge if you need it.
While there are trees all along the course, unlike the Azaleas where the trees tightly line many fairways (fairway, then trees), on the Oaks, there seems to be more room from the fairway, then rough, and then trees. It just seems more wide open.
What was a real difference is the entrances to the greens. Not a lot of uphill greens or heavy bunkering, just an open green with some trouble left or right or long. The par 3s were also a bit more playable.
Another real difference was the speed of putting. These greens were definitely faster. Maybe it was the cut but I played a day after some rain, early in the morning. This usually slows the greens down a bit. Not today. They were not lighting but certainly faster than what I experienced at The Azaleas.
Dancing Rabbit has 2 very nice courses well worth any drive you may have to get to them. Play both and you are definitely playing two distinct courses but both well-maintained and well worth the trip.
Great day of golf.
Course was in great shape, greens were good ( a little slower than I like) , weather was perfect. Overall a great day with friends.

A wonderful course in an out of the way place...
For serious golfers, driving an hour or two to get to a great course is a common affair. Dancing Rabbits is a set of courses that offer top notch golf, great conditions, at an out-of-the-way location. This location is well worth the trip.
I was only able to play The Azaleas course. The billboards along the way call it "Augusta you can play". That is a stretch but not too far. The layout is challenging but not excessively so. The fairways on The Azaleas are a bit tight in places but generous in others. The par 3s are all manageable and 3 of the 4 are downhill to the green. The greens were not fast but moderate (in that way, it is definitely not Augusta National). All in all, a wonderful day and a wonderful course. I look forward to playing Th Oaks soon.
Great course
It’s a beautiful layout and a beautiful course. It’s a tough and challenging course. Had a lot of fun and looking forward to playing it again.
The Oaks is my favorite layout of the two tracks at the Rabbit. We got a special rate and the course was in super condition!!
We will return.
Dancing Rabbit - Azaleas Course
First time playing there in 10 years. Just as good or better than the last time. Played in the afternoon on a $23 special.....crazy good price. From tee to green, the course was in good to excellent shape. Worth the 2 hour drive. Wasn't immaculate, because an attendant told me that they had almost 1,100 rounds played over the 4 day $23 special on the two courses, but still really good condition. The Azaleas is my favorite of the two courses. Would play there any day of the week, if given the chance. Really enjoyed the golf and camaraderie of our foursome. It's a can't miss course if you are in Mississippi.

Had a great time at the Rabbit. Good friends, and a fun day... The Oaks course was in great shape. Thanks...
Great value at the rate we got it at.
Greens were true and nice paced. I like the Oaks layout better than Azaleas track. Always enjoy the experience at the Rabbit and appreciate the special rates when they are available.
Great course and tee off deal.
Amenities are limited due to Covid so its not their fault.
Greatest golf for the area by far!
When you travel and play golf you’re often at a loss in many places to find quality golf courses. Dancing Rabbit is a gem. Challenging, remote feeling, not encumbered with residential decor, Dancing Rabbit offers in your face golf. Each shot requires focus and superb attention., For middle state golf it is a jewel in refined grass, sand and architecture.
