Work in Progress
Course in poor condition, apparently from snow damage. Green are horrible.
The course was extremely wet so it was cart path only. Pace of play was a little bit slower and the driving range was closed due to these conditions. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Will return to play again when the course is dry and give another review.
Love the course
I travel a lot for work and make sure to get by here anytime I’m in area. Course is laid out to be enjoyable and challenging for anyone. There are definitely opportunities to score even for mid handicap players. Great course for the money
Excellent course
We came up from Florida to visit some friends. We decided to check the course out and it didn't disappoint. It's was cart path only due to being a bit wet but it's laid out well limit walking.
Fun and enjoyable course
I’ve played this course several times while in town working. It’s pretty wide open. Not overly difficult. Enjoyable layout and just challenging enough to stay interesting.
Fun track with lots of forgiveness off the tee. Rough will get you though, and if you hit in the trees, 50/50 you're finding it. Enjoyable with some challenges. Good time. Good course conditions, greens were slow as they top dressed recently but ran true. I'd play it again anytime I'm in town for sure.
Hidden gem.
Very cool place all around. Driving range pond is a cool feature. Only thing I would add is a “starter”. Would take care of the little bit of chaos on.
Pretty good
Overall great well kept up course. Other than the tall grass in the tree between holes. Meaning if I slice a ball I'd like to play from it under the trees but I can't fine it becuase of the tall grass lol. But Other than my bad golfing skills it pretty nice.
Sweet place!
Fast smooth greens. Great staff. Dang sure worth the drive. Need to be able to work the ball left and right
Open Layout with Nice Greens
Tee boxes were nice with minor level issues. Fairways were in great shape. The fringe is cut tight and crisp around the greens. All the greens on the course were in phenomenal shape and rolled true. This course is FLAT, easy to play if you plot your next shot correctly.
The Refuge for a First Timer
This was a really nice course overall. Even with all the rain in the area we’ve had recently the course was pretty dried out. The greens were in good shape, albeit maybe a little over manicured and this made them fast.
The only downside I’d give this course is the amount of water they built into it. As someone just really getting their golf game to a sustainable level of play, I have the natural aversion to water. There are plenty of places on the fairways where it gets pretty tight and the water poses a real issue. Myself and several of the guys around me lost more than one ball to these water traps.
Overall this course was nice for the money and the location. I enjoyed the modern feel and the majority of the layouts are fun to play and good to get aggressive on. If you’re someone that doesn’t have good control off the tee box just beware the water.
