Nice course with fast greens, choose your tee time carefully.
Played thiscourse twice, once during the week at 1:30 on 7/3 and the other on a Saturday morning 7/6 at 10:15. Nice short course with great greens and well maintained but...never saw a single marshal either time. During the week and later in the day the course is not too busy and you can play pretty quickly. But on weekends and in the mornings it is crowded with a lot of retirees (mostly couples ) who just take thier time and this resulted to an average wait time of 10 or more minutes at each tee box. Thiscourse is part of Silverleaf timeshares and appears to cater to an older crowd, many of which know very little about golf etiquette or just plain common courtesy. Too bad as it really is a nice little course which a little marshaling would make it a whole lot mre enjoyable.
Very well maintained
Beautiful and well maintained. Holes were a bit tight and close together in some areas, but overall very nice. GREAT hamburgers in the grill with super friendly staff!
Challenging executive type course.
My son and I enjoyed playing together here. Quick 18 holes and the twilight rate was a good value.
Great Day on the Links!!!
What an amazingly low price to spend to golf with good friends. I hadn't golfed in over a decade but my friends were patient.
Course in great shape, pace of play from other golfers an issue
The course was immaculate, especially as dry as it's been, and it's very easy to get around. My only complaint would be the pace of play from other golfers. I would like to see more of a presence from a Marshall to either speed them up, let other groups play through, or force the larger groups to split up. We had to wait several minutes at each tee box. It won't however deter me from playing there again as it's a great value for the course condition.
Greens
The course was in excellent condition however the greens were as fast as lightening. Normally I average <2 putts per hole, but my average was more likely 3 or greater. I enjoyed the course, but the greens were a significant challenge. Even drives from 125+ yards that landed on the green typically ran off the green, sometimes 5 yards or more.
Play was a little slow.
Great course for the price, would recommend to friends.
Holiday Hills, for a Branson golf course, is very reasonably priced when you consider the condition of the course, amenities, etc. Paid $50 for green fee+cart, and it was in the condition of courses with about $70 green fees where I'm from. Even though it's only a par 68, a few of the tight fairways make it fairly challenging. There's a good mix of open fairways as well, so don't be too worried.
I played with 2 other guys who rarely play golf, and we still managed to fly through the course and finish right at 3.5 hours. Surprisingly didn't have to wait, as we played on a Saturday morning.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone.
Bad customer service
Terrible customer service, the course is ok but because of the customer service in the pro shop I will never be back and we did not stop in the restaurant and celebrate our good round. I did not want to spend am more money at this golf course. I would never go again, even if it was free, it was that bad.
Course is well maintained and the greens are extremely fast.
The green are extremely fast and are in excellent shape. The rate of play was excellent. The management of the course tries to create foursomes to play. I wish more would do this practice. I will return again soon.
I always enjoy playing here.
We have played here many times before. The grounds crew has done a fantastic job improving the condition of the course over the last couple of years. The fairways, greens, sandtraps, and decorative landscaping were in the best shape I have ever seen here.l
Very nice course.
For a par 64 the course had some tough holes, tight drives, challenging approaches. Course is in great shape though my game isn't! Greens were very changeling and fast.
A great course at a great price.
The course at Holiday Hills is a great choice for any player novice to skilled. The course is always well maintaned and the staff keeps the course play moving regardless of the number of players. I would highly recommend this course.
Holiday Hills
Reserving our tee time was great, good customer service, friendly and because it was my birthday, I even got the discount. Couldn't say more about that experience, the representative even confirmed the tee time with Sam, the new guy at Holiday Hills. When we got to the course for the tee time the next day, no reservations had been made. At one point I wasn't sure we'd even be able to play. Course staff very cold towards us. We were allowed to go out as a two-some and no problems on the course. Thanks for your help, most especially since you gave me the contact person's name--probably would not have been able to play had we not used that name and he was actually at the front desk and had no recollection of your conversation the day before.
Greens are among the best in area.
Pro shop staff unfriendly to golfnow patrons. Course was empty. No tee times ahead of us, club pro would not let us go before scheduled time.
Bad choice. Period!
Not a good choice. Course is not exciting. Needs a lot of work. I did like the greens. Rolled true and had some character. 10th hole a disaster.
course is forgiving with some nice challenges
This course is in excellent condition.'will play again.
Too expensive for the condition of the course.
I was disappointed that this course was charging full prices, considering that the grass was still dead in the fairways and that the greens were in such poor shape. To add to the misery, the pace was so slow and the foursome in front of us would not allow us, a twosome, to play through. We only saw the marshall once during our round and he didn't even stop when we tried to wave him down. The course needs a lot of work. The sand bunkers were mud; the fairways had no grass; and the greens were full of ball marks. If I had received a discount from using GolfNow.com, I would have really been steamed.
Would like to play again
Enjoyed the front 9 but had to leave as my wife was feeling ill. I had 2 Birdies and should of had 3. I'll play again hopefully on our next visit to the area.
good. course, took off when scheduled, friendly staff
I enjoyed this course staff was friendly and group i played with was friendly
When weather allows course is in great shape and has just enough hazards to make it challenging.
Thanks to Lance, this course is kept in immaculate condition during the Summer months when mother nature releases her Wintry grip on this part of the country. We try to play this course at least twice a week during the times when the weather allows.
