Oak Valley is Better.
I’ve played this course a bunch over the past 5 years and it’s in the best shape I’ve seen ever. Fairways looked gorgeous and clean. Greens need some love. And the bunkers were quite playable, even the 18th green had fresh sand delivered & laid out that morning. Good day of golf to boot.
Best Shape In 20 Years
So happy to see the course look so good. Fairways are in great shape. Well done
great day for golf
Fairways were lush and green, and the greens were running good for this time of year. The cart paths are another story.
Fun course
It was my first time playing this course, and it was challenging. We enjoyed the layout. The driving range and practice greens are not open, and I wish that was indicated on the course’s website. The food and drinks are rather expensive.
Re-seeded fairways are nice and green
The re-seeded fairways are nice and green now. They have been mowed, and play well.
Cut the fairways
Shouldn't be penalized for striping drives down the iddle of the fairways only to find your ball buried in nearly 4 inches of grass that's not the rough, cartpath only, due to reseeding fairways that are already rough length, got a hot deal for 17 dollars which was the only saving grace
Good value
The fairways where really thick they definitely needed cut, when you have trouble finding your ball in the fairway they need cut. The greens where in good shape. But no fault to the course there was a group of 3 in front of us and 1 person then a group of 6 in front of him. The group of 6 was freaking horrible no golf etiquette whatsoever they would let you play through the 2 groups in front of us skipped holes just to go around them. We had enough and we skipped a hole to go around them. Besides that the course was in decent shape and the staff was good.
90 degree? Needs water
The course was in decent shape but could use some love. Some areas of the cart path were rock and dirt with many rough areas. Also for some unknown reason they had all holes as 90 degree, when we've gotten little to no rain recently. The only thing I could figure was that they didn't want the carts on the fairways because then they'd have to water. Also numerous dead spots on greens.
On the good side, the layout was decent and I would go back to check out the back nine. We only played 9 on this day.
Great course, conditions under repair
First time playing, fun layout. Greens need some help after the extreme heat this summer, especially the back 9. The staff knows this and they're doing their best to make it right. The rest of the course was great, I plan on coming back. FWIW, our group played a 2-putt rule on the back 9 like a golf simulator. If you're on the green, try to make your first putt, otherwise pick it up and call it a 2-putt. Made for a fun day.
nice day for golf
Layout is great, however, greens, fairways, and cart paths need improvement.
Greens need some work i do think staff is working on this i will play again
