Virg's hole in... Photo submitted by u000004000717 on 02/28/2018
Front 9 was a little dry but back 9 was great. Overall great course for those who play for fun. Not overly challenging but makes the average golfer think and plan
If you want good golf, stay away
Course is in shambles. tee boxes are post-war, fairways are non existent, greens remind me of my grandma (not-manicured w/ dimples with overgrowth). Hope they can bring it back to life (unlike my grandma)
Bad greens
The greens had weeds all over it making it impossible to put a straight line. I've never seen the greens get this bad. Looked as if nobody maintained them for over a few months. Have a tournament soon there and pray it is fixed before then.
Getting better every time
The course looks way better than a few months ago. I am excited to continue to see progress. Cart paths are rough. Hopefully they get those fix. Fairways are starting to come in and greens are slow but I think they are letting them grow out. Some of the tee boxes are looking great while others still need some work. This course has the potential to be fantastic with the layout. Just needs some more work.
Oak Valley
First time playing this year. The course has lost many fairways and tee boxes (dirt). Greens were the only bright spot. Will be back in a couple of months to see progress.
