The greens are terrible.
Apparently they don’t care about their greens.
Absolutely some of the worst greens I’ve ever played.
No one fixes their ball marks and no one at the course cares either. One and done.✅
Potential to be a great course
Positive: Beautiful flowers and bushes along parts of the cart paths, good cart paths, everything was green, viewable wildlife, friendly staff, good club house, clean bathrooms, decent greens and fairways.
Negative: Most of the rough looked like it hadn’t been mowed in a month. Many areas had grass up to 8 inches high. If you weren’t a perfect golfer that hit your golf ball in the fairway every time and if your ball went into the rough, most of the time you could not find your ball. If you did find it, it was almost impossible to hit out of the rough. Most frustrating golf course that I’ve played in a very long time! Golf is supposed to be fun but I had none. I picked up on at least 1/3 of the holes.
It would be so easy for this to be a fun golf course—just cut the rough down at least once a week!!!
The rain came
I could tell this was an excellent course, unfortunately it had been raining so it was 90 degrees on front nine and cart path only in the back. Played with a father and son from Texas and after several holes and 2 rain showers we started playing best ball and had a great time. The staff were friendly and I will definitely give it another chance when back in the area.
Nice course
Enjoying this short but lots of hills and valleys, great conditions and we played a round in 3:30 hours.
Not Great
After playing the Big Cedar courses, we had an open day and decided to play here. Course layout was fine but fairways had high grass. You couldn’t tell the difference between fairways and rough. One in our group had to rent clubs since American Airlines lost his. Set was incomplete missing several irons. Maybe just spoiled since we played Big Cedar but course underwhelmed us.
Great staff! Challenging and fun course
Loved the bent grass greens. Rough is punishing.
Couple of fairways were not mowed probably due to rain.
On list to play again when in Branson.
you need a cart
Few yardage markers.
Cart path only made play longer.
Well kept course.
Good Course for Price Paid
At $67 through GolfNow, well worth the play. The course is in good shape ( tee boxes, fairways and greens ). Nice layout even with the up and down fairways, side slopes, and a few blind shot. All in all? I would definitely play this course again if I looking for value for my golfing dollar,
Good value, nice layout.
The greens had been aerated fairly recently and were a little rough. We found them difficult to read but will chalk that up to our lack of skill. I liked the layout of the course with some nice views and interesting holes. Except the 9th hole teebox (whites) which had a steep slope right in front which was a challenge to clear with a driver. Staff in the proshop was friendly and professional as was the 19th hole (bar/restaurant) staff. Overall a fun day on the course.
Another Challenging
Beautiful Course and beautiful layout some easy holes and some very challenging holes
Ask about aeration
15 of 18 greens were freshly aerated, making them unplayable. Weren’t told that up front. Slow play unmonitored. Expected better for 100$
Great golf location in Branson
Very hilly layout but beautiful. Not very women friendly regarding tee to green length, but
My wife just teed it up where she felt
Comfortable.
Everyone working there were great and the
19th hole was clean, good, and fun.
The Smith’s
A little wet and aerated greens
Course was in decent condition but cart path only. Greens recently aerated so putting was difficult Very hilly and lots of uphill holes. Decent layout
Golf Now didn’t mention shape
Golf Now did not mention the shape of the coarse. Greens had just been plugged. I understand it needs to be done but they only let me play the front 9. I would’ve hated to see the back 9 because the front greens were horrible. Fairways and tee boxes hadn’t been cut in a week looked like. When I pulled up and seen the shape I tried to reschedule at the clubhouse but they would not let me since I booked at Golf Now. I’ve played here before and it was in good condition. I sure wish I could’ve rescheduled because it was horrible.
Front 9 closed no advanced notice of Aerification
Showed up to be told front 9 was closed, maintenance crew was aerifying the greens, 18 holes of golf would be played on the back 9 twice. Pace of play was slow, greens in good shape, would have like to have been notified if the maintenance schedule in advance, we would have scheduled our play at another course.
