Tees
The Tess were under repair on 4_5 holes. Cart very nice. Overall 3.5
Cart path rules
It was hard on me with a hip issue and being cart path only!
Work in Progress
There were a few holes on front nine that were under construction which was dissapointing since I thought the price we paid should have been less .
Don't open a course that is not playable
I was passing through Branson on my way from Arizona to Illinois and remembered this course from 15 years ago. Decided to give it a try again.
Found out quickly that they had so much rain before that the course was a swamp and not really suitable for play.
Even with a cart path only rule, the damage is still done. Greens had been aerated and not rolling true. Fairways were flooded. Tee boxes were pieced together with some squares of sod.
poor shape
it has been wet in Branson this week so every course is wet and cart path only. the Pointe was no exception. the greens had all been aerated and not fully recovered. the first 4 holes had very lousy or temporary tee boxes and one temporary green 1oo yards away on a 390 yard par 4. there were several other holes throughout the course with temporary tees while new boxes were being constructed. one of them had all 4 sets of tees at the same muddy location . this is a nice course when it is in top shape. Green fees should be at a discount when it plays like this.
Unique topography
A lot of beautiful ponds and bridges. Some intense tee shots going uphill! GPS displays in each golf cart. The 19th hole is a cozy place to grab a snack in between front and back nine.
Poor
Course was wet and cart path only. Work being done on the course. 1 par 4 changed to a par 3 with a temporary green. Other teas moved up.. overall a poor experience. Green's also aerated. All of this without notice from the course before play began except cart path only.
Poor condition!
The course is in extremely poor condition. I would not recommend playing at this time. I could not give this course even one star.
Course
The course is paying havoc from wet conditions. Several holes either were under construction or unplayable.
I wound also recommending to visitors of the blondes shots on several homes.
Pro shop staff was very respectful and receptive. The carts had wonderful seats.
Nice place to play in Branson
I play this course every time we visit Branson. The fairway grass was still dormant so not fair to rate the course conditions. The greens were in good shape and pretty fast.
Fun times
As a avid golfer it was a great course to play, the difficulty with the hills on the course made it fun. However due to rainy conditions outside the control of staff it was wet and sloshy out there. Will definitely be back to try this course again with the sunshine preferably!
Springtime golf
Played the Pointe on a deal time price which was the best price in branson. The course really surprised me as to layout( good) and condition, also good. Greens fast, fairways dormant but plenty of grass. Bunkers freshly raked and plentiful. Couple of the members let me join them and schooled me on how to attack the course. Really made my visit enjoyable on a perfect 55 degree spring day.
