Nice February day in Branson!
Great to enjoy a day in the low 60's in February in Missouri! (Temp, not score)
Nice winter time golf outing
Had a good time at Pointe Royale. The course was in good winter time condition. This course is a little tight in some spots with houses creeping in on some fairways. It's a good test for winter time golf. It's quite hilly as is most of Branson area, wouldn't recommend walking unless you are in very good physical shape.
Great course!!
Super fun course!! We are definitely coming back!!
Chilly but worth it
A bad day golfing is still better than… course is in good shape. Challenging.
Point Royale golf course
First time I had played the course. Played "single". Typical winter conditions were in play. Ground was soft. Nice variety of shaped holes. Would not consider the course a "long" course, but you have to hit your spots on a few holes. Biggest drawback was getting behind a 4-some that simply would not let me play thru. I finally went around them and skipped that hole. Once around them, I played at a nice pace and enjoyed the rest of my round.
Nice course!
We really enjoyed the challenging slopes and greens. Accuracy and club choice are critical to a decent score, so strategy pays off here. They did a great job of keeping the course free of leaves. The hills create a few blind shots, which are fine, except i don’t like teeing off into a high hill with no visibility to what is beyond. That’s rough for first timers. We were fortunate to have a local join our threesome.
The course was a lot of fun and challenging to play.
great conditions
perfect day for golf unfortunately at this time of year leaves can be a problem
Great coarse features
Enjoyed playing Pointe Royal. Got paired with two average golfers. I wish there was a practice range but being in a neighborhood I can see why there isn’t one. A lot of challenging holes.
Worth a play
This is a nice course that is worth playing. Some holes are tight driving holes, so select the right club off the tee. Greens are of moderate size and fast. Good value and I would play it again. A lot of blind shots if you like this sort of play.
