Challenging and fun
After three days of rain, the course was relatively dry. Muddy in some parts, but overall in great condition considering the weather. Beautiful course that is challenging but still fun for beginners, especially as the front tees are fairly forgiving and placed in front of the water on some holes.
Bad fairways
Greens were ok. Fairways were ok in some places but thin to non existent in others. Tees were also very thin.
Target Course
This course was fun to play and you definitely had to pick your spots carefully on each hole. Many fairways were tight and some you couldn’t see from the tee box. You definitely had to utilize the scorecard and cart GPS to play the holes. Great value! The greens were still recovering from being punched, which is the only reason for 4 stars. Still very playable.
I hate to even mention it but because of all the recent rain, the course was very wet in places. Because of this the course was cart path only. If you have trouble walking hills, consider delaying playing here until drier conditions arrive. That said, keep this course on your bucket list. It is fun, tough, interesting and worth the money.
Course Review
The greens were some of the most challenging I have played. The fairways needed work. With a little bit of maintenance, this course could be absolutley beautiful
Too early in the season for an accurate reading
I loved the layout of the course, but because we were playing in early April, most of the fairways have not greened up yet. Dry and brown yielded significant roll. Greens had recently completed spring aeration, so they didn't give a smooth roll. I liked the layout of the course overall, and I believe in a month or so it will be a very nice course to play.
Great Course
Great course to play. Challenging, but not too hard. It’s always in good shape. Staff is great
Fairway not in great condition.
The last time I played here 10 years ago the Fairways had been tore up. They are still under construction.
Unannounced aeration of greens.
When we showed up to play our round we were informed that we had to play the front nine twice because the back nine was being narrated. The front nine was extremely crowded because players word diverted back to number one along with those who are starting their round. Extremely crowded. Greens on the front with a freshly are rated and sanded.
OK FOR THE PRICE
PRICE WAS VERY GOOD,GOLF COURSE WAS A LITTLE DRY ,FAIRWAYS WERE ROUGH. I HAVE PLAYED HERE IN THE LATE SPRING AND IT WAS MUCH BETTER.
