What a Dud!!!
If you like golf go elsewhere. If you like overbooked short crooked blind shot crud green old style golf courses this is the track for you. Pace of play horrific. Holes are just uninteresting and poorly designed. No way to fix it either. Just not a good piece of land for a course. I’ll never go back.
The course is always in great shape. The layout can be a real challenge but overall I would recommend this course. The downside is the price, I was able to get a deal through Golf Now which made it a really great price.
Excellently maintained, very pretty course, excellent value.
Fun To Play
Course was in excellent condition. I am 61 and my wife is 59. The length of the course was fine for us. For a young player that bombs their drive this course might be a little too easy. Enjoyed the layout, and the rough wasn't to long to get me in trouble on wayward shots. Greens were a little slow compared to our home course. but rolled excellent. All ball marks were repaired and areas around greens were neat & trimmed. For a leisurely round of golf with my wife this was just the ticket. Played several other courses near Branson and they were tough on her, even from the ladies tees. My Wife enjoyed Pointe Royale as much as I did.
Very professional atmosphere.
This was course was very good overall. It had a professional atmosphere and it was very well taken care of. The golf carts had gps, the greens were very nicely taken care of and the employees were very friendly.
Course in excellent condition. Members take care to fix ball marks on greens.
Just the best for a flat lander.
Course was awesome. Where I'm from is flat. So this was just breath taking. Lots of hills and valleys. Big drive opportunities. Shot a 93. I'm normally 89 to 100 range. So not bad. Course helped me out alot being I slice quite a bit. Especially that day... I would slice and natural elevation would bring my ball right back on course. Was super cool. But yeah if I ever drive 10 hrs again to come out this was I will for sure play again.
Beautiful Course
Course was in Great Shape. Challenging but fair. Would love to play again.
Fun course!
Challenging course. Beautiful greens. Great value and beautiful scenery.
Nice course, but short.
Nice course, and a good test. Many holes are short and require less than driver. Course is a position course and requires straight hitting and good strategy.
Point Royale
Great course, generally great condition. Plays on the shorter side from men’s (blue) tees. No range, so come prepared. Some odd blind/partially blind extremely uphill tee shots. Would play again and definitely recommended. Friendly staff!
First time we played the course. Whenever we get back to Branson, we definitely will play the course again. Hopefully, a couple of times.
We were paired with a couple from California and had a great time. The gentleman commented, "this is the first time I have played golf and we used all 4 tees." He played the blue, my husband played the white, other woman played the red and I played the pink. A great time was had by all. Course was in great shape. Thank you for the great price.
5-some in front of us and behind us.
The 5 player groups in front of us was the only spoiler in an otherwise great round of golf. Even the $4 hot dog was well worth. Felt sorry for the waitress in the 19th hole grill who was left to bobble on her own for her first day of work.
Local Knowledge an Asset
This course has some spectacular holes, but also some blind shots that are difficult. Multi-tiered greens and false fronts add to the level of difficulty for first time players. On the plus side it's definitely worth returning.
