First time we played the course. Whenever we get back to Branson, we definitely will play the course again. Hopefully, a couple of times.
We were paired with a couple from California and had a great time. The gentleman commented, "this is the first time I have played golf and we used all 4 tees." He played the blue, my husband played the white, other woman played the red and I played the pink. A great time was had by all. Course was in great shape. Thank you for the great price.
5-some in front of us and behind us.
The 5 player groups in front of us was the only spoiler in an otherwise great round of golf. Even the $4 hot dog was well worth. Felt sorry for the waitress in the 19th hole grill who was left to bobble on her own for her first day of work.
Local Knowledge an Asset
This course has some spectacular holes, but also some blind shots that are difficult. Multi-tiered greens and false fronts add to the level of difficulty for first time players. On the plus side it's definitely worth returning.
Great experience
Friendliest staff I've ever encountered. Course was slow, so they let me go off as a single about 30 minutes early. Rental clubs were brand new, never before used Taylor Made...bubble wrap was still in one of the pockets of the golf bag. Only downside was they don't have a driving range!!!!
Course in good shape.
Short course but very tight. Tee boxes, fairways and greens in great shape. Lots of hills. GPS in the cart is nice. No driving range but do have a putting green.
Good value and challenging
This is a tough course with sloped fairways and undulating greens.
Bunkers come into play on many holes and 3-4-5 require good drives to carry the hazards.
Tee options make it very playable for all skill levels.
Terrible Staff
First of all made me pay for my handicap dad that could only swing the club a few times for the round. Second the course was full of foursome and we had a twosome behind us. We were waiting on every hole but they made us let the twosome play thru on the eight hole. The only thing that did was make us wait twenties minutes on the 10th hole. Terrible pro and terrible staff. I play a lot of golf and never did something like this every happen before. I had my 11 year old son with me too. Now you know why kids don’t want to play golf. This head pro showed my son why not to play golf. Hope he’s proud of himself.
A little chilly....
Although it was a little chilly, we had a great time! We usually have a foursome, but this time we were a twosome.. They paired us up with a guy named Chuck. Great guy and a good golfer. So we not only got to play, but we made a new friend! The Pointe has always taken care of us and this time was no different. Thanks guys, see you soon!!
Buckle up
Short yardage course disguises very well the challenge of the course layout. Greens made you work as the undulation makes you work over every putt. Fun course to play!!
Play this course
Great course if you don't mind playing through subdivision even if you do you should still play here Lots of elevation change but still very playable
Challenging but fun
Greens where freshly aerated making putting very difficult and the pace of play was extremely slow.
Maybe in Season
The course was not worth the cost because it is too early in the season. The greens were aerated and the fairways were brown. I would have thought the rates would have reflected the poor conditions.
