So much fun
This course is so much fun. The front and back are like two different courses. The front is park style and the back has elevation changes and canyons. One of my favorites.
Does anybody here rake traps?
Played the course and found it in poor condition. Seems as if no one rakes the traps here. Everyone had rakes but they must be just for looks. I'm guessing that since others don't do it others following don't do it. Course needs some work in areas. The one hole that was washed away by the floods is a very poor design. Hit it in the fairway and it rolls into the hazard. Needs some changes. To many birds on the course on the front. Fecal stuff all over. Stay safe and don't golf here.
excellent greens beautiful scenery
My wife and I had a great time. Greens are great, friendly staff and we will definitely be golfing here again.
Beauty in the desert
This course is in excellent condition. Plays long due to lower elevation. Front nine flat with plenty of water and sand traps to make it challenging. Back nine has many elevated tee boxes with breath taking views. Consistent green speeds is an added bonus.
Fun course with front wide open and back more difficult
This was a great course to play with a variety of holes. The course it self was in ok conditions. It was a little dated and landscaping around course was not kept pristine. We would go back at a great rate.
Hackers course
Changed my Tee=Time without asking, staff might as well be bricks. Inexpensive, so lots of hackers who slow play to a crawl.
No refunds for bad weather.
50 mph gusts,35-40 mph sustained winds.Had to get own carts, starter could care less.3 hrs to turn.At one time 5 groups on #6 par 5.Group ahead playing scramble with 3 couples. No marshall.Pre-paid with no refund or rain check. We quit at turn. Will not look to return.Too bad, looks like nice track.Practice area plenty big.
Good layout
Casablanca has a very good layout with challenging holes and good variety. The course is definitely worth playing. The amenities are good and the staff are friendly. The value is the only thing they haven't got right. I played a better conditioned course the same week at the same price. I received free range balls with my green fees but not at Casablanca. All in all I would recommend playing this course.
Better Places To Play
We had a te time booked through Golfnow.com, so it was prepaid, upon arrival the winds were up to 60mph, the pro shop said take your chances out their, when asked if we could arrange another tee time or something since it was prepaid, they said no. Qoute., "the pro does not believe in doing anything for eeather", we tried, got 3 holes done, could not see because of the blowing sand, hat and everything blowing around, we packed it in, again went to the pto shop to see if there could be something done, same answer, basically, you paid, and thats what happens whrn you prepay,, very nice approach to customer service. NOT
Wild windy ride!
40 mph sustained winds, but still deal@$35.Would have liked to see more deals considering conditions.Want to play under less windy terms, greens great shape!
Nice selection of holes
On time tee off staff worked together well.Play after 1230 and play at your own pace and enjoy the views.
Poor Value
Very unhappy with the condition of the course, especially the green. We were especially upset with the proximity of ATV's and dirt bikes racing by (ten in total) twice as we were waiting on #7 or #8. Beside the dust and noise generated, the closeness to the the tee boxes was totally unacceptable. It will be the last time we play the course or recommend to anyone.
The back 9 was the highlight of the round
I'm a relatively new golfer (2 years). The front 9 was fairly easy to moderate, but the back 9 was definitely more of a challenge. For the price, the weather and my excitement to keep playing to keep getting better, this course is great. I'll look forward to playing it again.
Course häs a nice back 9.
They could improve on their customers service when you arrive at course. Also our cart ran out of power had to push it back to clubhouse up some steep grades. Clubhouse closed by 5:30 pm on a Saturday go figure.
Fun
I enjoyed myself with this couple who showed me around.... They were familiar with the course abd helped me around.... I should have played on the back tees, but enjoyed myself completely.
Great golf in Mesquite
Course was in excellent condition with a great pace of play. With the time change recommend taking advantage of the twilight rates and avoid the crowds.
Palms Club pleasant surprise
First time at this course and was very happy with the course and condition of the place.
I will return.
Nice golf course on a warm day
Liked the layout. Enjoyed the desert views and the local wild life running around. The company we were teamed up with were nice and a joy to play with. If there was one concern, it would be the greens. They were a bit bumpy and glossy due to being dry.
Good warm up course
Old course, old carts, front 9 greens not in good shape back 9 is fun with greens in much better condition
Not as nice as other courses in the area for the same money
Driving range was closed. Poor yardage marking on fairways.
