Windy unplayable!
Too windy! Course is unplayable. We played only 4 hokes. No rain checks were given.
Great place to play near Las Vegas
We had a great experience the first time we played here so decided to play here again. The staff is friendly and very helpful with anything you ask them. The course is beautiful and in a great condition. I like the nice and wide fairways, but challenging. The greens are a bit inconsistent, but fair. The pace of play was excellent both times we played. It's about 40-45 minute drive out from Las Vegas strip, but worth the drive.
Poor man’s shadow creek
Great layout and track out at Primm Valley.. the Lakes course had pure fairways and tee boxes! Greens were a little slow but received well and some greens had some rough spots! But pace was great the track is a fun one to play sand is great out bunkers will be back
Amazing experience
It was very enjoyable and the course maintenance is exceptional the value to play is awesome great value for these two courses. Very professional a pleasure to play them both
Do yourself a favour
In a nut shell, a hidden jewel! 7 par fours and 11 par threes. Challlenging and fun! Do yourself a favour and play this track
Great day
The Desert course conditions continue to improve and as it is more exposed to the elements and narrower than the Lakes course is a tougher track. The Lakes course is pristine and such a pleasure to play.
Their practice facilities are second to none
The staff are excellent, friendly and accommodating
Greens are better than now!
Greens are quite better than we played last year. The layout of the course is good. Green fee is reasonable. We played the Lake course. Recommended!
So worth the drive
Finally made the journey out to this gem. Played the lakes course which was in amazing condition. The fairways held shots well, the greens were challenging and true. Peace was perfect as I got out under 3 hours 45 minutes and back to Vegas in a flash. It's called little Shadow Creek for a reason. Must play!
We have played Primm in the pas, however it was a long time ago. We were in Las Vegas for a couple of days so we thought we would try it again. It was absolutely beautiful and so much fun. I didn't remember that it was so beautiful. Everything was green and perfectly mowed. Too many bunkers for me but that is the name of the game. We had perfect weather to accompany the course. At the turn there was nothing available to eat in the Club house which was a shock. They need to work on that offering for sure. My husband and I agreed the next time we are in Vegas we will play the course again.
Golf Chef
They have done a good job bringing this course back .
They still need to continue to work on a couple tee boxes and continue to work on greens
But so far great progress
Thanks
Very nice facility
Our reservation was for the Desert Course. But because it was windy, they recommended that we play the Lakes Course instead as they were not busy. The Lakes Course was beautiful and in an excellent condition. The greens were a bit slow but ok. We finished our round in little under 4 hours. They allowed us to try out holes 1 and 2 of the Desert Course. It was dry and not in a good condition. We were glad we played the Lakes. Will come back again.
Worth the drive from Vegas!!
Played on the last day in Vegas. Course wasn't busy on Friday just after noon and the wind that was promised in the forecast was not as strong as expected, resulting in a great afternoon of golf! The staff were very helpful, the fairways were in fantastic condition and the views were beautiful. The only thing that wasn't 5 out of 5 was that some of the greens had some rough spots, like winter kill. But there weren't many greens with that issue and the areas were fairly small when they were present.
I will definitely go back there on my next visit to Las Vegas!
She's a Diamond
8 of us traveled the 1hr and 45 min from Kingman AZ. When we arrived at the clubhouse I new we were in for a great time. The course was beautiful, a few of the greens were in need of some are but most were in great condition. The staff was friendly great practice facilities. We was not out of the parking lot and already planning our next trip.
Making progress..
What a difference since the last time I played there...
Kudos to the staff and maintenance crew, you guys have done some great work on your course. The green's were "unplayable " the last time I was there. There's still some bare spots but in due time they should be fine.
Pace of play was a bit slow due to the foursome in front who really didn't have any clue of ready golf or etiquette. Oh well hopefully one day they'll fugure it out...
Staff was very respectful and courteous, food was limited but was edible.
Would definitely return, especially with the "Hot Deal" offered from Golf Now.
Looking forward to getting on the Desert Course in the future.
Greens still need work
Primm Valley continues to improve but has not reached the standard of 15 years ago when it was one of Golf Digest’s places to play. That being said, it represents great value for a Vegas resident and is a beautiful golf oasis in the desert. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Much better than 15 years ago?
Almost Back!
Primm Valley was one of the top 5 public courses in Nevada but then it hit bad times.
It is about 85% back!
