The Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas is part of the Station Casinos family that includes the Boulder Station, Green Valley Ranch Resort, Palace Station, Santa Fe, Sunset Station, Wild Wild West and Wildfires Gaming locations. The Four-Diamond Red Rock offers rooms, suites, penthouses and villas for guests, as well as multiple restaurants, casino and shows/concerts. Sandbar’s pool features upbeat music, combined with private cabanas for rent and poolside gaming. There are even VIP spaces in the bowling alley (suites) and movie theater (booths). Kids Quest provides daycare services. Red Rock adventures dive into the spectacular natural settings for horseback riding, river rafting, kayaking, hiking, biking, rock climbing and more. Multiple golf courses are offered in packages, but the closest is the Arroyo Golf Club located in the Red Rock Country Club across the street (two miles) and the versatile Angel Park, home to 36 holes, a putting course and a lighted par-3 course three miles away.Facts

Great course staff no so much!
This is course really wants local players. When they didn't recognize me and then found out I booked on golf now they could care less about the experience. The guy I was paired with was super nice but comments made by the staff were " he is a nice guy" I asked if he played here much and their reply was "probably too much" I asked the guy how often he played and he told me 1-2 times a week. Overall I was not impressed with the staff I would find a different course. Even though the course was beautiful and well taken care of the staff ruined it. As well the other cart with my son the GPS didn't work the unit in the cart was broken. Don't bother bringing youth or junior golfers with you. They would prefer if you didn't.

Nice Pills Needed
Arroyo is the money maker for the private course. Staff was not welcoming at check in. Practice range needs work, worn out. Assistant at the practice range was not helpful.

Ehhh.. could be a good course
Busy course with slow play and very limited supply of carts. Doesn't sound like much of an issue until you can't complete your round because you get started late because they didn't have enough carts.. then when you get out there it's packed, waiting on every single shot. You've been warned. If you don't have enough carts, then you need to provide less tee times.

Amazing golf course design. The course was in terrific shape. Very accommodating staff at front desk. Arroyo is now one of my top 3 courses in L.V. !

Tee time was delayed an hour due to lack of carts. Barely got 12 holes in with no discount. Buy some more carts. Ridiculous

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I have played a lot of golf in my life, but by far this was the absolutely worst experience I have ever had at a course. The day was a complete debacle. I have never seen a golf course so dysfunctional and disorganized in my life.
First, we arrived at the course only for them to tell us that they were behind by around 30 minutes due to a frost delay and not having any available carts. So, we went to the range for a bit in a cart that a staff worker was running loops taking folks to and from (i.e. the range is a long way away from the club house). We later had to call the golf shop to get a ride back from the range as they stopped picking up folks. When we arrived back at the clubhouse, they said it was still going to be a while as they had no carts. In the end, we ended up teeing off 1 hour and 15 min past our booked tee time. The issue with this is that we knew at that point we were not going to finish 18 due to the lack of daylight. Had we started around the time we booked, we definitely would have finished.
Next, we were out playing and a manager pulls up in a cart and asks me if I paid as he wasn't seeing a record of it. I told him I absolutely paid as I watched them run my card behind the desk. I even asked for a receipt, and they said I wouldn't need one. I looked for the receipt everywhere for the manager, but I lost it or they never gave me one (not sure which). I let the manager know nicely that the experience had not been good, and I cannot help him if they can't locate my payment. I let him know we were already an hour and fifteen minutes behind due to their shortcomings and we really needed to get going. He started making excuses about the frost delay and telling me there wasn't anything he could do about it. I let him know I respectfully disagreed that there were things they absolutely could have done, such as do not take 6:30 or 7:00 am tee times in early Feb as there is usually always frost in the mornings. I also told him that we were told we were delayed because of the lack of carts and that they clearly overbooked (i.e. it was superbowl weekend). He proceeded to get extremely rude and tell us we didn't have to play there. I told him we had no choice at that point, but had we known earlier we never would have given our horrible experience. I have never seen a manager treat customers like this and my friends were all shocked.
At any rate, I SIMPLY WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT THIS COURSE IS EXTREMELY AMATEUR. MANAGEMENT IS RUDE IS HAS NO IDEA HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS. I AM NOT SURE WHAT SORT OF TRAINING THEY GO THROUGH (CLEARLY NOT MUCH OR THE RIGHT KIND), BUT THEY SIMPLY DO NOT GET IT AT ALL. IT SEEMS THEY LIKE TO MAKE EXCUSES AND MAYBE EVEN LIE JUST TO TRY AND SAVE FACE INSTEAD OF JUST SAYING..."SO SORRY YOUR EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN SO BAD. CAN WE MAKE IT UP IN SOME OTHER WAY?"
Really, I have never seen anything like it. They really need to learn how to treat their customers. They also need to stop overbooking, stop with the excuses, and get more carts if they want to have more customers.
TAKE THE ADVICE, GO PLAY ANY OTHER COURSE. YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF FOR IT.

Slow slow so slow
Omg course is good condition but I had to wait 20min every hole. Course workers drove by but don’t care. It took me more then 5 hours to finish the fame by skipping 3holes. Never wanna play this course again.
