Waited 36 mins at one hole.
I absolutely have quality patience you have to, to play golf. However there clearly wasn’t any thought given to pace of play. Whether that be with the amount of people booked, or the Marshall not enforcing pace of play well enough. If I start playing at 1:30 pm I should be able to finish my round. However I only got 15 holes because of darkness. Crazy to pay triple digits and not finish the round.
Amazing course
Fairway and green in excellent condition, good price-performance ratio
Overpriced, overrated
6 hour round, course is under repair for 200 dollars
Overrated, over priced
6hour round on a course that is under repair for 200 dollars
Over priced over rated
200 dollars for grounds under repair and 5 hour rounds
Slowest round ever
It took about 4 hours to play 12 holes. The pace of play was incredibly slow and I ended up leaving before I could finish the round. Excuse from Cody in the pro shop was that they had a lot of play that day. If that’s the case, you shouldn’t have 7 minute tee times and actually have your ranger do something so your rounds are not 6 hours. Will not be playing here again.
Good Course
I was in town for business and wanted to play a round. This is the second time I have played the course over the past year or so.
It's the typical community type course, where it runs in-between homes. Ate lunch at the clubhouse and it was good.
One complaint, the roughs seemed excessively long, and did not seem to graduate from fairway-fringe-rough. We actually lost a couple of the balls in the rough along the fairway edge. Spent much time driving around trying to locate the balls in the DEEP rough. Also, the greens needed a little work.
Overall it's a 4/5 for me.
Confused
The course was in great shape, especially for the end of August. It was well watered and well maintained. It was bizarre that they have everyone start on hole #7, a par 3. This seems to be permanent since the cards are printed with #7 first. You have to play 12 holes before passing the pro shop/restaurant again. Stock up on food. We did see the cart girl a few times during our round. The last time was on the tee box of the last hole. The only explanation we got for starting in #7 was that they do this in the summer and will revert back to starting on 1 in the winter. It really makes no sense and we played, as a threesome in 4.5 hrs. My other two rounds this week were 3:15 and 3:30.
