Good golf, but what they lack is nearly criminal and it's easily fixable. WATER, WATER, WATER. PLEASE!
Imagine playing golf in Las Vegas during the summer with temperatures well over 100. Every course I can think of provides at least two waters in ice for each cart, plus water coolers around the course. Not Arroyo. Why this is most surprising is because their sister course, Siena, where I played recently, provided water and had full ice-cold water coolers every 2 or 3 holes. I was very impressed and at 113 degrees it was needed. Arroyo at best had one cooler per 9 holes. Not enough! It's almost criminal. If the GM see's this, stop being cheap and be considerate of your patrons.
Very nice course
Very fun course to play except the slow play I saw the martial driving around twice but didn’t do anything about it. But other then that still had a great time played from the tip which gave a lot more scenery of the course.
Nice course! But..
Nice course, nice layout. Good conditions that day.
Guys/ladys outside top(foodcar, carts, starter, marshall),
inside in shop/desk not very customerfriendly.
Had booked the wrong day with GN, came day after and had to pay the greenfee for the no-show (Dollar 75.-) and Dollar 135.- for the new greenfee at same daytime! Come on, that‘s too much. Could be better I guess?
Great track
Great course to play if you’re visiting Vegas. Well kept, fun and challenging. Make sure you get to your tee time at least an hour early if you want to use the amenities.
Must Play
Course was in excellent shape! Loved it. Will be visiting again.
Arroyo at Red Rock in Las Vegas NV
A must play course. The course layout is very nice. Greens were fast and smooth except for the many ball divots that golfers didn't repair (please people, repair your divots on the green). There are trouble areas if you don't hit fairways, so be careful. We played with 25-35 mph winds from the black tees; so a challenging day of golf. All the staff were very friendly and the beverage carts came around often. I'll definitely play this course again.
Sub par customer service
I booked a tee time the night before, and planned on enjoy this round with my 2 boys who are 8 and 6. My boys are small and I’m a smaller guy, I’ve enjoyed courses with my boys sharing a single cart at countless courses here in the valley. Upon checking in, John quickly asserted that we were unable to go out on the course no exceptions, as I tried to ask a for any other options and he cut me off and said “his GM would kill him and he can’t do it and it sucks I know” to which I replied, fine what is the process on how to refund my purchase when I booked through golf now, he directed all questions and inquiries to golf now and said they had no control over it. My first experience at arroyo golf club, was overall, disappointing, I was excited to experience a round at arroyo but was quickly declined, rejected and redirected. Sub par customer service, no accommodation or even an effort of. Couldn’t we have walked the course? That option wasn’t even presented to us as a last minute thought.
Rude Staff
I was first tee time, and made it 25 mins before the tee time, but I was very annoyed by rude staff keep hastening me to be ready and trying to control my every movement when I was just going to check out the green. Was super annoyed and ruined the experience. Reminding me of the tee time and being ready is understandable, but it seemed like they weren't even ready and it would have been nice if they talk in a nice way instead of doin git in a rude way.
Also the rough is always too thick in this course. Almost can't find the ball and very very difficult to hit in the rough.
The course
I love this course. It’s always in great shape & the staff is always courteous. My only complaint is that they don’t have a blended distance. You with have to play just under 6000 or just over 6400 yards. Other than that, a great experience
The course was in immaculate condition - tee boxes, fairway, rough, greens. Tis is the best maintained course I've played since I retired to Las Vegas 3 years ago. I'll definitely be back!
Impeccable
The course and staff were amazing. It cooled down a little, the high was only 106°. We had to wait out a short powerful storm, then play through the lakes in the fairways on the remaining 4 holes.
This was a wonderful experience, everything was as good as we could have hoped for.
Home away
Excellent course we luck up on a cool day
Staff was very helpful
Great value but need rangers on course
Overall positive experience
Group ahead of us spent way too much time looking for lost balls
Disappointing.
I booked two tee times for me and my granddaughter. My wife joined us as a spectator to watch our granddaughter play. The staff member at the bag drop told us that spectators were not allowed. I spoke to the golf shop staff member, and he would only allow my wife on the course if I paid for the full green fees, which I thought was ridiculous, but I was in no position to argue.
The golf course was in decent shape given the summer heat.
Pace of play was abysmal
They already have an issue with pace of play because they have you start on hole 7 which is a par 3…but it took our foursome 2 hours to play 6 holes. When I brought this up in the pro shop for a rain check they refused me saying they didn’t care about how the pace was as long as we finished under four and a half hours. He even made me look at the screen. Pretty obvious that they are putting out too many groups to make more money
Las Vegas golf
This course was in great shape. Little warm that day so not a lot of people on course. Very challenging from the blue tees.. Need to carry the desert at least 150 and beyond to reach the fairway.
