Crystal Springs Resort
About Crystal Springs Resort
Crystal Springs Resort is a 4,000-acre playground located only an hour across the New Jersey state line from New York City. It is one of the country’s largest golf resorts with six courses - Ballyowen, Black Bear, Cascades, Crystal Springs, Minerals and Wild Turkey – and three driving ranges. The Grand Cascades Lodge houses 220 guest rooms with an inspired welcome: An outdoor putting course leading to an indoor lobby with high ceilings, wood beams and a stone fireplace. Both it and the 175-room Minerals Hotel feature their own spas and pools. Children will love the Biosphere, an indoor pool complex with an aquarium, vortex pool and caves, 140-foot waterslide and café, all in a tropical theme. Twelve restaurants are spread out among the course clubhouses and hotels, delivering a variety of menus and price points. Between the Mineral Sports Club and Adventure Center, there’s always a new activity or program to enjoy.Facts

Bring golf balls
Either don't miss the fairway or green, or be prepared to go through a bunch of golf balls.
OB/thick woods with no chance of finding it let alone venturing in to even give search.
Great unique course though with lots of great views.
Choose conditions were solid as well.
great to be out
Wonderful view, great staff, greens and fairways in great condition. Will be back!
Great course
After driving 4 hours, we arrived at the first tee a few minutes late...no issues. The course is part of a 6 course complex, and a resort. The course was in great shape, very green and well maintained. Greens were a bit thin, but we were told that was the style??? Views were breathtaking, you could see for miles through the valleys and mountains. The course itself was extremely playable and forgiving, unlike Crystal Springs. It was a risk/reward course, with lots more rewards than risks. The only downfall was the group in front of us was extremely slow, but due to COVID-19 rules, waving us through is frowned upon. Not sure they would have, seemed they were just a bunch of rude players only concerned for their game. The beverage cart was out and about all day. The staff was friendly and helpful. Booked another trip to the resort in September, and already made tee times for Wild Turkey!
Extremely Tough
Beautiful course, great condition. The only reason for only 4 stars was the toughness of the course. Shot asking was a necessity on this course, as there are many pitfalls along the way. The mounding also made it difficult due to a wayward drive that finds the outside slope of the mounds will be lost. The scenery was beautiful, and the staff is awesome...extremely friendly and helpful. The beverage cart was also out all day!
Hard But Fun
Hard course.. bring your A game.. but tons of fun and in great shape.
Crystal spring cancelled
Crystal springs canceled my tee time I would hope that GN will send me back my booking fee
All around nice
18 holes and a cart but ended up being same 9 twice... not an issue with the quality of course however.
Needed more info
This course did t allow carts in fairway. This was not disclosed on GolfNow and should have been.
Early season fun
The course is still in winter mode, but it was great to stretch my arms and swing freely, watch the true ball flight and not a simulator. Cart path only slowed play but amazingLy still a 4 hr 15 min round. Overall an enjoyable round.
