Old sea oaks making a comeback with new name
This is the old sea oaks. Can’t believe how good conditions were for being closed for two years. The conditions are better than alot of public courses in the state. In addition, the staff was out there the whole time tirelessly working to make it even better. Hats off to the staff and management to bringing back a classic in such fashion.

I was really looking forward to playing here, since I had played Sea Oaks many times. I was very disappointed first in the pace of play. To send out foursomes 10 minutes apart makes for a long day. Second, the conditions of the course were very poor. Third, the halfway house was not open for food (hot dogs, etc,) or drinks. The price posted for this experience was way too much. Until the course comes around they should charge $40
Excited for the future
A beautiful course that’s only going to get better over time
Needs work
The layout was always great greens and some fairways need work but I always love the layout
Disappointed
The course wasn’t bad but there was nothing else. No food or beer. I hope they get this place back to where it should be but in the mean time play elsewhere
LBI National - First Round for 2022
Glad to see LBI National opening and Renault Winery owners taking strides to update/improve the course. Recognize this will take time ….course in general rebuilding condition due to dormancy. However, tees were in decent shape, while greens were generally slow. Fairways had some tough spots but very playable for the most part. However, strong attentiveness at the Pro Shop and starter kept 4somes organized and ready for play. Looking forward to great things at LBI as course conditions improve and the restaurant / Tin Cup opens up!
Layout is great, overall value for course was not good due to conditions. The halfway was not open and there was not a beverage cart.
Needs work and time
I had played here years ago when it was Sea Oaks so I knew the course layout was nice. While I understand the new ownership wanted to open the course to make a few bucks, it's just not ready. Frankly charging $99 a round for a course that needs work is a mistake. This course used to be impeccably maintained and because it sat unused for a few years it's to be expected that it will take time to get it back into shape, but the new owners haven't even changed the signs. The fairways were decent, greens were decent, tee boxes torn up. Overall landscape was not manicured. Best way to describe it is that it needs work. We got stuck behind a group of very slow golfers on the back 9. While I have no issue with golfers who aren't very good, this group were simply slow and it was preventable. The ranger was no where to be found and my group and the group behind us were annoyed he didn't move them along or help us play through. I will give it another try but not until the course is where it needs to be.
Great to go back.
LBI just reopened after 2 years. It was always a treat. With several GolfNow Rewards I was able to see and play it again. I needed the forward tees; I used to reach a couple of the par fives in two when it was first built. The layout is quite adventurous. Conditions were fine. Iwish LBI great success.
