Windy day - Nice course
This is a very nice course. The layout was challenging with risk/reward type holes. The greens were very consistent. Yardages marked well. I liked this course.
Play Sea Oak if you can
Excellent golf course - well designed, and laid out so you can see your shots, yet challenging.
Nice layout!!
I played as a single like I usually do. Through 11 holes the pace was perfect. I was playing 3 balls a hole staying behind the group in front of me, and was 1 hole ahead of the group behind me the whole time. Was so relaxed and even par through 11. Then out of no where, this single came up and ruined 12-18 holes. He hit into me while I was walking off the green on 12 so I told him to play through but instead he asked to join me. I don't mind playing with other people but this guy was just rushing everything. Wouldn't even take the pin out on the greens, and hit into the group I front of us twice. It just ruined my back nine. I hate speed golf, especially when people don't even take time to read greens, just putt once n walk off, and there was no where to go....a lot of people like to play golf when its nice out!!! the course was in decent shape. Greens were nice/true, fairways need a little more attention, and every bunker had LARGE puddles of water in them. I will probably return in a few months and definitely NOT AS A SINGLE!!!
Best option for Golf near LBI
Played morning after a huge rain storm the evening before, course was drenched with standing water in a couple fairways and in a few bunkers, but in good shape otherwise (nothing you can do about mother nature). Because of conditions, course was cart path only but our threesome breezed through in just under 4 hours.
Course is lined with pines, in classic south jersey style, and can be pretty tight and unforgiving if you end up on the needles. Overall, though, the design features a nice variety of holes and and some fun true risk-reward options.
Challenging layout but still forgiving
Very nice course. The course is in great shape for early season. The staff is great and the price is reasonable in the afternoon. Would definitely recommend.
Sea Oaks a Gem
This was one of the best kept and well maintained courses I have played. It is an hour away but I will play it again as it is well worth the trip.
very few flat lies in fairway
The course was in great shape.Wen the holes on the green get back to summer growth, the greens will be much better.
great layout
sea oaks is a fun, challanging course. it has undulating fairways, many sand traps, and equally undulating greens. since it is early april, the greens had just been aerated, and the fairways were thin. but i have played here before, and know the course will be in great shape in a few weeks. highly recommended.
great deal through golfnow paid under 30 bucks .
Sea Oaks was a private club. Course was in very good condition for this time of year. Greens are multi tiered and difficult and in very good condition. Highly recomend this course
Fun course to play
Wide fairways, but lots of trees and bunkers if you spray the ball. Large raised greens makes getting the ball close a challenge. Subtle breaks never let you have an easy two putt. Course was in very good shape considering we played in early April. Staff was freindly, but the pace of play was awful. The two groups in front of us were at least two wholes behind. Never once saw a ranger. Two of the groups behind ours quit out of frustration.
Great finishing holes, most notably 17 which is a bear!
1st class operation, staff friendly and good value overall. The course offers a unique variety of holes, back nine 3 shots tougher than front. For example,on the day we played the par 3's on the back were playing with nothing less than a hybrid or wood in your hands. Greens here are pure!
Can't wait to play it in the summer.
What a hidden gem. What a great value $44. and a free lunch that was real food not a sandwich and bag of chips. Staff went above and beyond. Played a 3:50 round. Overall an amazing experience and I will be back constantly.
Fun track to play
Course was in great shape considering the time of year. Greens were in good shape, and pace of play was quite fast. No temp tee's or greens. Highly recommend.
good
very good conditions, cost, course lay out,all player
Your bar graph didn't work very well
For mid January course was in good shape. Play was sloooow.we had 3 slow groups in front of us. One group let us play thru. after 9 holes we stopped at Pro shop and told them it took 2 hrs20 mins could they do something to speed up play and were told they would sent someone out.We ate to let the 2 groups get ahead as they would not let us play thru. We cought them in 2 holes. We watched them taking 8 to 10 shots per hole. It was PAINFUL!!!! We finished before dark! We could have played in 2 less hours if Pro shop would have supervised
GREAT COURSE, GREAT CONDITION, BEST STAFF OF ALL COURSES WE PLAY
HIGHLY RECOMMEND, GREAT GOLF COURSE, GO PLAY ANYTIME
Staff is the best.
Play there often and travel almost 50 miles. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The course is in very good condition considering the time of year ( Jan.). GolfNow makes it very affordable to play.
Great Layout
Course has a very nice and challenging layout
even though it is off season there were many maintenance workers taking care of course
Greens are in great condition as are the fairways
Will definatly go back and golf at Sea Oaks very soon
A South Jersey Jewel!
A thoroughly enjoyable round of golf beginning with the courteous pro shop staff, the amicable starter, the excellent conditioning of the golf course and the challenge of the golf course's design!
Very very good experience!
