Seaview, A Dolce Hotel
About Seaview, A Dolce Hotel
Seaview, A Dolce Hotel, was founded in 1914 as an exclusive country club. It has a long history of hosting professional golfers, presidents, rock stars and celebrities. In 1942, Sam Snead won the PGA Championship on a combination of holes of what is now Seaview's Pines and Bay courses. The Bay course, a regular host of the LPGA Tour, delivers the views beyond Reeds Bay to the Atlantic City Skyline. The hotel includes 34,500 square feet of meeting and event space, indoor and outdoor pools, three restaurants and a fitness center. The historic charm of the interior feels like a trip back in time.Facts

Seaview review
Classic golf course that’s impeccable! It’s historical! It’s polished! It maintains a standard that filters down to the players!
I’ve played this course on several occasions and have met some very nice people who appreciate Seaview as well!
I’ve never seen anyone disrespect the grounds or the environment!
It’s a pleasure to play here!
torn up tee boxes
The fairways and greens were in great shape. The bunkers were a little inconsistent, some were fantastic soft sand while other greenside bunkers were hard pan. The tee boxes, however, were in absolutely horrible shape. Torn up with very few places of grass left.
Once you got off the teeboxes though it was in the good shape that what i would expect from this resort.
Tee boxes were a bit beat up. Course has a lot of dog legs and is much more difficult than the bay course. Cart girl was around frequently which is good since there's no half-way house. It's an average course, but I enjoyed the bay course better.
Old course back in play
Course was in good shape except for the tee boxes. A little wet but much better than last year when the greens were shot in August and October.
Good course
I paid $79 for this course through golf now and it was an excellent value compared to courses I’ve played in the area on vacation. It was a good test of golf. Layout iis excellent. I will definitely play it again on my next trip.
Eh
Pine course was very challenging. But the tee boxes were in horrible condition. Greens were fast and nothing was breaking. Also too many dog leg holes. Cart girl was great. Bay course is much better.
Unless they figure out the bug situation, never going back
The greenhead horseflies were out of control. We were attacked constantly for the first 12/13 holes, and they subsided a bit on the last 5/6. Course layout is good, but unless the bug situation can be addressed via traps, etc..., not worth the money.
Layout is great, conditions seemed very run down, bunkers all had significant standing water, sand was inconsistent across all bunkers, and none had adequate amounts of sand.
Staff were all terrific, very helpful and friendly.
Great HOT Day!
Despite the crazy heat the course was in great condition and the greens rolled true! Only ding was that some of the tee boxes were in bad shape - maybe just due to outings.
Always a must play!
