Angel Fire Resort

About Angel Fire Resort
Angel Fire Resort began in 1966 as a small ski destination but has expanded into a four-season retreat in the southern Rockies. The resort is located 8,600 feet above sea level with views of Wheeler Peak, the highest point in New Mexico. In summer, guests can enjoy downhill mountain biking, ziplining, golf and disc golf, hiking, tennis and fishing and boating at Monte Verde Lake. The Lodge, home to a pool and fitness center, sits at the base of the mountain, while various condos and homes are for rent near the mountain, lake and golf course. An RV park is also available. Eight different restaurants, cafes and bars provide variety for dining.Facts

I Recommend This Course
A challenging test of all the shots.
I loved the variety of the course. It was slow going because of the surrounding beauty of the mountains. If you didn't stop to enjoy the scenery it would be OK; BUT, you would have definitely missed one of the great ascetics of golf.

Lovely course. Great mountain views and plenty of fresh air.
Would use Golf Now again to reserve a tee time for this course. As a Wyndham Timeshare owner (Angel Fire) the rates through Golf Now were $30 less than the Timeshare Owner rates. This was for a tee time after 2pm.

I Recommend This Course
This course has beautiful mountain views.
The course has a lot of elevation change. The course winds through mountain pines down into a meadow. The greens are hard to read, however; they were very hard and had unpredictable breaks.
