Course manager was very rude!
I love the course but the guy that is the manager was very rude! They were having some sort of tournament that morning. I paid and went to the driving range, emptied my bag of balls and began to warm up next to a guy that was hitting balls. (He was playing in the tournament) The manager came out on a cart and told me to pick my balls up and move to the other end of the range. I told him that there were no signs telling me that the area that I was hitting in a wrong area. He told me to either move or leave the course. I was so so surprised at what he said, I didn’t say anything. I just picked my balls up and moved. However, after I realized what had just happened, I wanted to find the guy and tell him where he could go. But I couldn’t find him. I’m a 3 handicap golfer. I was so upset that I shot a 90 that day. Again, I like the course. But I’d still love to find that guy and let he and I revisit that episode again. He would have a bad day. Not me.
Great layout
Course was in very good shape. I have always loved the layout of this Davis Love course. The pace of play could have been better. There was a ranger riding around but couldn’t tell if he was pushing the slow groups a head of our group. My only recommendation is put the water coolers back out on the course. They did have a beverage cart but only saw her once on each side. Will play again maybe during the week next time to see if pace of play is better.
Greens have been punched.
Wish it would have been made know before booking so I could have pick another course. I understand it’s required maintenance but make it known to the public. Beside that the rest of the course is fantastic. The new carts are a nice addition.
Anderson creek
It's a hidden gem. Great course awesome staff n the food n drinks are great too!
Anderson Creek
Anderson Creek golf course is now becoming my favorite course, the greens are always in great condition, each hole has its challenges. The staff is wonderful to deal with. The new golf carts are by far the best golf carts in all the state of North Carolina.
Great Experience
Helpful & friendly staff, the course is in great condition, greens can be a bit challenging (many swells),
Hidden Gem
Never knew this course existed. Will definitely play it again (and again).
Fun challenging course
First time at the course. The course was a lot of fun to play. It was in great condition with the only exception. All the bunkers were washed out some with standing water. That was my only complaint. We will be back. It was a fun course to play.
Great Couse
Course was in great condition. Staff was excellent. Looking for a good course to play this would be the one
You’ll want to play this one.
This course was just beautiful. Soon as we got there they brought a cart to us. Told us our tee time and said that we could go right away if we wanted.. The course was very well-maintained and just beautiful. Like I said you’ll want to play this one!
Slowest 2 rounds of golf I've ever played and no water fountains or coolers on the course
My buddy and I played Anderson creek back in September and took close to 6 hours to play 18 holes being stuck behind others. No marshal to keep up the pace of play. We came back to give it another shot and see the improvements like the new carts and starting off we were impressed. Unfortunately we ran into the same problem at hole 7 or 8 there were a total of 5 groups either waiting to tee off or on the green. There was also no water in the cooler spots or at the bathrooms to drink so on a 96 degree day if you ran out of water you had to wait till the turn which took 45 minutes too long.
Just beautiful!!
This course is just a beautiful course. They met us when we got there and brought our cart to us. The staff is just awesome and treated us very well. I will definitely be back.
Hidden Gem
Only a short drive from Pinehurst in a lovely gated community. Lots of challenge for the average golfer, especcially the greens. Entire area needs rain, but course in excellent shape. Brand new electric carts with GPS were very helpful. Best of all...not one other golfer on the course!
The greens have been sanded.
Don’t play for a week or two. The greens have been sanded. Didn’t even make me aware of it when booking
