good day for Golf
Great day but Hot, course was in good shape and pace of play was good on the front 9. At the turn the grill staff is way to slow, took over 10 min to get a hot dog and with that totally screwed up the order on the back 9 which created such slow play we had to skip a group of golfers ( who had no business being on a golf course ). 3 hours to play the back nine, made the day very disappointing. Rangers were weak and would not address the problem. Love the course but may have to re-think alternatives vs playing AC again.
Slow slow slow pace of play
The course is good the staff is good the pace of play was so bad I can’t recommend the course just on that Point alone and that was on a weekday can’t imagine what it would be like on a weekend
Anderson Creek
Very pleased with the cart staff. Female at checkin was unpleasant and short with us. The course was in great shape.
Great layout and conditions
Anderson Creek is definitely off-the-beaten-path, but we’ll worth the trip from Raleigh. The layout of the course is great—lots of variety. Also, the conditions were great, especially given that the area was in a drought.
Easily could be a high level course
Went out on a Saturday morning around 0830. Wasn’t caught behind or rushed once. The course layout is very challenging with some tough greens. If they could clean up around the greens a little better and prevent them from being hard like concrete this course would be 5 stars all around.
Great value. Nice course.
Incredible value on the Hot Deal for 18 holes and a cart. Course was pretty well maintained. Fairways and greens were fast and firm but consistent throughout. Changes in elevations throughout keep your attention with a few picturesque holes. Bunkers will punish you throughout but overall good course. Staff was friendly and courteous. Putting green and driving range simple and nice.

Very nice layout. Generous fairways. Nice greens.
