Andersen Creek Golf
Everything about Anderson Creek golf club is great except the bunkers. Many of the bunkers I saw were wet and had pools of water in them..
nice course
nice scenic course. Plays like the designer....strategic drives setup challenging approaches followed by challenging greens......very much good shot placement/smart decisions score on this course....Just like Davis used to play on tour.
Good time
This course is well maintained except for the sand traps. They need sand. For a beach bum like myself the traps need sand other than that great time.
Nice layout. Love 18th hole.
Greens are in great shape.
Great course those bunkers are huge! definitely check out the upstairs bar and restaurant
Beautiful course.
My first time. Challenging enough for me. I love the forward tees. It makes my round so much more enjoyable. I am not a long hitter off the tee or on the fairway. Those bunkers are fun and interesting. Looking forward to my next round.
very good!!
There are many water hazards.
but fairway is well managed with grass.
nice views and good pace od playing.
Not the greatest day but it was fin
I got paired up with some new golfers and I hed to teach them some things about Golf etiquette, and not to waste time searching for their balls and taking turns hitting shots. We were on pace to play a 6 hour round but managed to push them around and get in a 5 hour round.
Front 9 was slow but I felt like we were the only ones on the coarse for the back 9.
I didn't bother keeping score because my game was so off I just gave up and focused on practicing some things because I had the time.
CART PATH ONLY ROUND
Greens SUPER SLOW. Didn't know cart path only for 6/18 holes. For a HOT DEAL barely worth it. Bare fairways. Save your money. Bayonet or Keith Hills. Restaurant very good service and good food
Just needs some maintenance
Obviously a great layout as evidenced by the early Golf Digest awards, however they seem to be relying on early reviews to drive current marketing . Overall, the course is lacking in maintenance. The fairways and greens were in good shape, however a lot of the rough was out of control, and the bunkers have been poorly maintained with several lacking sand or standing in water. For the price we paid, it was not bad. I would not want to pay full price, though
A little run down
Beautiful place but the greens had some large bald spots that I would not expect to see on a course I pay 75 dollars to play on.
Other than that we had a great time but I think the price is about 15 dollars too high.
West Virginia Golfer
Not the Greenbrier or Glade Springs but a good layout for the money. Greens good fairways have some issues. Pace of play slow with a fivesome in front of me!
